I was there LIVE at this one and it's one hell of a mix! Awesome, HOT track selection, great job on this one, yet again!
definetly a great set to liven up sac on a thurs nite...thoroughly enjoyed it, fire and answers rocked.
Excelent set. Good track selection. The setlist keeps me drawn into the set, a very good thing to do as many recent sets pound a single genre into your ears (ASOT). The fact that you are playing songs out of the genre takes some guts. A few of the tracks in this set could be classified in the house genre. But you somehow pull it off. The beatmatches are flawless and the quality of your recordings in coming up to par. Keep your creativity flowing and you could go pretty far.
I just have one question...why can't you id your own track for the first song???
because that track is unreleased and the artist that produced it, doesnt want it ID'ed
Cool. Mucho bonus points for respecting the artist. I just downloaded your set and comments will come later....
You already have a dj gig going so that's way beyond my bedroom abilities so I'll give you a listener's perspective. The mixing is great just like all the other sets I've been listening to lately. It's just the tracklisting that needs polishing. Maybe I'm too strict but I thought this mix wasn't that exciting with the exception of the SOS and Mountain tracks. Try filtering out some of the filler tracks and keep only the best.
thanks for the comments............ I think everybody has a different taste in music, and what might be a filler song to you could be my favorite song in the set, so it just depends. When i buy records i try to only get things i think are good, i am not the type to buy "filler" tracks but like i said everyone is different, so thanks for listening to the set and giving me your feedback, i appreciate that, its hard these days for other DJ's to sit and listen to another DJ's work and have an open mind about it. Let me know when you post your mixes up on here stevie, so i can have a listen and comment back! thanx again guys!!!!
well just gave the set a listen nothing bad to say, expect a few mixes seemed like the volume was off but nothing major, i like all these tracks but not what i would play live, other then that good work, try sending one of your demos into www.trancedomain.com, go to dj sets then on the side of the page youll see a link where it will say demos then just read what it says
oh ok i will have to check it out, thanx for the info!! and thanx for commenting on the mix!!

Oke Razor, thanks for being my first guest on my show (D.U.T.C.H.) at specradio.com. I will give you my view of your mix.
1. ID - ID
What a great intro track
Maybe one comment: a little bit more low frequencies on that track would be nice.
2. Lolo - why (nick pilon mix)
The first mix is smooth, although the first 20 seconds was not precisely beatmatched.
3. Adam Sheridan - another tommorow (dub mix)
Very great mix, with the voice already in and that bassline that went in.
4. David West ft. andreas hermansson - larry mountains 54 (inkfish remix
Short mix, nice with that rolling bassline taking over.
5. Ferry Corsten - Fire (flashover mix)
Almost correct beatmatching, the same comment as on the first mix.
6. T.B.A. - SOS (Sander van Doorn remix)
Nice work! Razor Nukels in progress..
7. Randy Katana - Play it Loud
Partytrance
I think the audience went totally crazy now!
8. Abel Ramos - Aquarius (Randy katana mix)
I like this style
Good mixing!
9. Marco V - tolerance
Time for some classics
10. David Forbes - Answers
This mix could be better in my opinion. Marco V was ended or you faded it too fast out.
11. Second Sun - Empire (TPOD mix)
The last mix: Not equal and strange transition. You drink too much alcohol with this one?
haha
After all, it is a nice mix. Track selection good be better in my opinion. Although I like the classic ones combined with the more recent ones. By the way, don't be shy with the length of your mixing skills (playing at a club), because I hear a lot of fast mixes. Your eq skills are good. Maybe you could make your mix more thrilling the next time. Surprise us with your next mix! Keep on rocking!
Cheers
looks like i will burn this one for the long hall.. pretty work...
that first track is just a big rip off of George Hales - Autumn Falls especially more so copied from the St. John vs. Locust Remix of the song
liked the mix by the way....i liked how you dropped larry mountains 54, personal fav of my time
Interesting mix, would love to know where/how u got that first track?
actually i downloaded, that 1st one, it was soo awesome i just had to play it!!!!

I liked the flow in this mix, good track selection mate!!!!
