12 hours until the DJ RJT & lucid roadtrip!

weeeeee... yes, we are leaving for NY tomorrow morning sometime between 4 and 5am!!

it shall be a glorious day filled with Red Bull, toll booths, 'TA' travel centers (i always lol when i see these), rest area fast food, speeding and avoiding cops, etc... and for the first time i get to share the drive with someone who won't fight with me about what music we should listen to!!!

i'm so excited and i just wanted to share my excitement with the CORe.

My wife and I bring Trivial Pursuit cards along and ask other questions when we get really bored.

And then of course we play the alphabet game where you have to spot a word that begins with each letter, etc.

Yeah, we're lame.

the states we're going through are not very interesting or scenic (Illinois/Indiana/Ohio are the worst, ugh) but i'll have my camera with me and i'll be sure to capture photos of anything worthy.

I told you, I'm saving myself for marriage....

Srsly though, this is going to be a much needed break from school for me, I busted my ass getting everything done (TG break is usually where I crank out all my studying for the end of the semester) so now I'm ready to get the hell out of Point, Wisconsin, and the Midwest in general, and spend a nice long week/road trip with my favorite of all TA's...

The ONLY thing that saddens me about missing Thanksgiving with my family: This is the first year in my 22 years that I won't have fried chicken for Thanksgiving...

If you're taking I-80, Pennsylvania's not much better. Highlights include Quaker Steak & Lube in Sharon (just over Ohio/PA border). They've got great wings. Also, there's the Groundhog signs as you approach Punxsutawney.

Are you two going out in NYC while you're here? Oakie's Thursday night, Danny Tenaglia and Behrouz on Friday, and Tiesto on Saturday and Sunday (all at Crobar). Judge Jules is at Spirit Friday night (Jenna Jameson's hosting the party, I think). Jonathan Peters is on Friday at Avalon, too.

To be honest, though, there's nothing that amazing.
