Great news
This is great news, since one of my favorite gu albums is "Cape-Town", haven't heard the "Buenos Aires" edition yet.. Is it good? Hope he will still stick to prog. trance and not move over to the prog. house, like he has did partly with the renaissance cd's. =)
greetz =)
GU 12 - Sasha in Ibiza has to be my fav and also GU19 - John Digweed

im also looking forward to this one By Dave Seaman, hes a great Dj

GU 012 is Dave Seaman

Seaman is going down without trance lines
He looking like mainstream DJ
He loosing his talant for percussive funk house
One of my lovely Mix by Seaman is

sorry i meant 13, But yeah Barracuda i see your point, ppl on GU forums dont think much of him either, hes a "Put ur hands in the air" type DJ

90% of GU's are great CD's so I can't see why this one won't be great. Looking forward to it. When is the release date?

That's really good news. Dave Seaman is the man.
I really like his Renaissance Desire mix album. In fact I would go so far to say it's probably the best mix album I own. Like fine whisky, it gets better with age, and I enjoy it every time I listen to it. Great living room (or bedroom
) music.
I saw him live about 4 months ago, and he was awesome. I expect this offering will be quite good too.
Dave Seaman is coming out with another Renaissance CD in a couple of weeks or so i hear.
As for my favourite GU..Its gotta be Digweed's 019.
Dave Seaman........ I LOVE THIS GUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
his shit is soooooo good.... but my fav global underground has to be sasha 13 Ibiza... i cant wait for this new one, its gonna be ultra sweet... he's putting out a new renaissance cd too?
My favorite Global Underground album has got to be :::
Deep Dish : Moscow
this album blows me away everytime!!!
well from what ive heard from mates who went to see him spin.. it'll be an awesome cd... both trancey and housey..think a cross between cape-town and beunos aires..hahah... bringing in samples from all over the place.. ahhh why cant they just hurry up and release the CD!!!
caio
Fav' GU's:
Oakenfold New York (for nostalgia)
Nick Warren
Digweed
Of course, I have Dave Seaman on GU, but I thought his Renaissance double CD (the first one) was better. It was a lot trance'ier- even the house tracks had a persistent trance sound to it. If you haven't listened to it, you should check it out- it's an interesting contrast to the GU sound. I went to his set in Toronto: He blasted the place to hell, F*ckin' amazing.
dave seaman rocked the goods shed, it was a fantastic night and im sure the Gu underground CD will be brilliant...though im doubting it will top Nick Warrens (Brazil)
looking forward to the DVD that comes with it too

Yeha nice thread GU, thing im getting into nowadays.
i bought digweeds hong kong, warren's amsterdam (which i prefer but bothare GREAT) and just ordered theso much celebrated ibiza set by sasha.
What other GU'S are recommendable? id prefer trancy-er ones (heared budapest is cool?). I d/l both Tenaglia GU'S and find them nice but..well maybe too deep and monotone
but quality all the way
Dave Seamans GU011 in Buenos Aires is very trancey.. great cd
... also try Nick Warren's Brazil set.. both niiicce cds
