Idea Great news

This is great news, since one of my favorite gu albums is "Cape-Town", haven't heard the "Buenos Aires" edition yet.. Is it good? Hope he will still stick to prog. trance and not move over to the prog. house, like he has did partly with the renaissance cd's. =)

greetz =)

i've noticed as well that GU016 is more trancey!!! but that was back in 2000 though...his latest sets and works have been more housey...which is still OK

Cape town is my fav prog CD though...i hope that he does one like that again, but i HIGHLY DOUBT IT since he's ben leaning toward more housey sonds lately (check his Moscow sets) <--i still like those!

i'm still looking forward to the GU022 though, i'm planning on buying that one

90% of GU's are great CD's so I can't see why this one won't be great. Looking forward to it. When is the release date?

That's really good news. Dave Seaman is the man.

I really like his Renaissance Desire mix album. In fact I would go so far to say it's probably the best mix album I own. Like fine whisky, it gets better with age, and I enjoy it every time I listen to it. Great living room (or bedroom ) music.

I saw him live about 4 months ago, and he was awesome. I expect this offering will be quite good too.

Dave Seaman is coming out with another Renaissance CD in a couple of weeks or so i hear.
As for my favourite GU..Its gotta be Digweed's 019.

Fav' GU's:
Oakenfold New York (for nostalgia)
Nick Warren
Digweed

Of course, I have Dave Seaman on GU, but I thought his Renaissance double CD (the first one) was better. It was a lot trance'ier- even the house tracks had a persistent trance sound to it. If you haven't listened to it, you should check it out- it's an interesting contrast to the GU sound. I went to his set in Toronto: He blasted the place to hell, F*ckin' amazing.

dave seaman rocked the goods shed, it was a fantastic night and im sure the Gu underground CD will be brilliant...though im doubting it will top Nick Warrens (Brazil)

looking forward to the DVD that comes with it too

do u mean that there's a dvd coming with gu022? of do u mean the other dvd that is out now, 'Transmissions'?

Yeha nice thread GU, thing im getting into nowadays.
i bought digweeds hong kong, warren's amsterdam (which i prefer but bothare GREAT) and just ordered theso much celebrated ibiza set by sasha.

What other GU'S are recommendable? id prefer trancy-er ones (heared budapest is cool?). I d/l both Tenaglia GU'S and find them nice but..well maybe too deep and monotone but quality all the way
