I met INXS this morning!

I met my favourite band of all time this morning (I actually got to ask a question, too, on CHUMFM!).

Jon and Andrew Farris, and Kirk Pengilly signed my copy of the new book.

I got a picture with Jon Farris, too!

I'm on Cloud 9!

I think JD's got a big head about him... he's really great... sexy, and has that croony "Michael Hutchence" sound. But he didn't ^5 my hand. Yet I was the one who got the crowd to get up and dance. The other guys have been doing this a loooooong time.

Michael wrote the lyrics. Andrew is the songwriter. JD's a contributer, but INXS has been a band since 1977. Michael left behind 5 outstanding musicians, and as a longtime fan, I'm happy they're back!

JD's contract runs out in a year.

I agree... JD left a sour taste in my mouth Thursday morning, yet I loved watching "Rock Star:Inxs" and was a huge supporter of his. Now I'm the first person to say that he's an ass.

I'm going to the Intimate and Interactive tonight on MuchMoreMusic. I'll be sitting with a friend of his from Nova Scotia, so it'll be a real test of how this celebrity has gone to his head. Michael had a classy and buddhist serenity about him.

I was reading the book "story to story", too, and they have a perfect saying for being "spangled".... "bat faced!". 'Cause it's true, that people look like mushy-faced bats when they're messed up!

Soooo funny! I'm getting bat-faced this weekend at Sander!

I saw a lot of people on the show Friday night that were maybe 16 or 17. They weren't even born when Kick came out! I guess Inxs is trying to maybe attract a younger crowd by picking JD. I think it's going to be difficult for a lot of their more mature fans to buy their new CD because it sounds a bit odd hearing someone other than Michael sing the new songs.
Pretty Vegas is too overplayed as well

Yeah, the cougars were gross, and they looked really miserable. I was so happy to be there! They were probably the same age as me, yet looked about 10 years older. Sad!
