Help me with Shoutcast!!

is this symbol a spider or what? i think im the first one to use it..
anyway, i wanna have this live stream..u know, web radio. i think i downloaded all the necessary things but this idiot wont let ppl connect. <01/03/02@18:25:31> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)

<01/03/02@18:28:14> [source] source dropped connection. disconnecting.
It says that Im connected and that im transmitting and stuff, but ppl i gave my IP cant log in..whats the problem??

any specialist here?

You're best bet is to search in the shoutcast forums.. you are getting an error that looks pretty common, and is probably over-posted in the forums..

This might help:

you say that people can't 'log in' - what do you want them to do? Connect to your shoutcast server and stream _TO_ it? Or are you the one streaming to it from your own machine and you're just having problems with ppl connecting?

Edit sc_serv.ini and make sure you change the default password and other settings and then go from there.. Also make sure whoever is streaming to it that if they're using Windows that their WinAmp Shoutcat DSP is the latest version and not the old crap
