Posted by idoru on Nov-26-2005 03:11:

I work in the grocery department of my store, so I had an extremely easy day. The only busy part was when they called me to cashier during the last hour of the sale; bitchy customers piss me the fuck off.

People are crazy...

I drove by Sears on my way to work at 5:30 this morning and there were people lined up, wrapped around the building, like they were going to a club or concert. Then I passed by Toys R Us and there were people going in/coming out with baskets full of toys. At 5:30 AM!!! And it' like 25 degrees outside! WTF???

People are crazy...

and just to save what? $20 $30? Not worth it. Fuck, I hate shopping just for basic necessities this time of year.

INOi mp3 HDD from CompUSA.

assuming it doesn't break within at least a year, i'd consider it a steal for that price.

I had a lady bitch me out for $7.99. I was ringing her order up, and the dumbass that she was decided to make it take longer by grabbing everything out of her cart and hand it to me one piece at a time. So finally we get to her pants...

I ring up a $40.00 pair and it comes out discounted to @27.99. "Umm, those are supposed to be fifty percent off." So I void them and try another time. It doesn't work so I call over to apparel. It takes them five minutes to get away from customers in their department and they find the place the lady says they got them (I have a line of three or four customers behind this bitch now). Turns out that there's a sign for the clothes on the opposite side, but not for the side of the rack that she got them from. So I tell her, and she insists a bit angrily that there was a sign there.

The apparel lady digs around in that area, and the both of us come to the obvious conclusion that it was either a mis-stock, or a customer left them there. I hang the phone up and tell the lady this, and she started yelling, "No, they were under the 50% off, I want the 50% off!" I keep my cool, telling her that there was no sign there, and that she was incorrect. She bitches me out some more, before my boss tells me to just honor the 50% off.

The apparel lady ended up walking over as I was finish with the lady, and the customer got really pissed at her for telling her that she was wrong.

The lady held up customers for ten minutes for eight-fucking-dollars. I mean, Jesus Christ.

I walked back there during my lunch... The customer was wrong. Damn Bitch.

/angry, pointless rant

haha i hate customers sometimes.

today was actually kinda fun.
customers knew what they wanted, got out, few problems.
HP's warehouse sold out of the $99 desktops and $399 laptops by 10am.
by around noon we were pretty much empty on all of our big sale items.
