how do your parents react to your drug abuse?

My mother was in my room yesterday because i was supposed to be cleaning it, cause for some reason...i have to clean before the cleaning lady comes the next day.


Mother was clearning shit off my desk because apparnently she could do it better than i. she saw some roaches and she says:

"What?! Why are you lighting matches in here???!?!!"
"those arn't matches mom, they're....."
"A JOINT!!?!"
"...roaches. Gimme those, they're big"
"I'm telling your father"
"LOZLZOZLZOZLZLOZLZOZZLOZZLLZOLZ...not if i eat them..."

well the last quote wasn't exactly what i said, but similar..but after i pocketed them..she moved on to how messy i am and

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS CLEAN SHIRT DOING ON THE FLOOR!!?!!!"

anybody elses parents given up on stopping their children from doing drugs?

well I basically moved out 6 years ago but my bro still lives at home and smokes a lot. She knows he does and doesn't give him too much poop, unless he is broke and behind on bills.

kinda like cleaning off your plate and rinsing it before putting it in the dishwasher.

my dad knows about it and he's fine with it, having gone on trips and to raves back in his day

but yeah .. once i forgot to stash away my joints, and it smelled of marijuana in my room .. my mom stepped in, and asked what the stench was ? .. i told her it was some dirty clothes, because i just cut the grass, and my clothes smelled of sweet grass ..

well ... actually i did cut the lawn earlier ( good alibi thank goodness ) ... FTW!!

i later got busted coming home smelling like weed in the middle of the night .. i forgot to cover it up, and she didn't believe my alibi i just cut the lawn ...

saying there's a skunk outside the house when you stink works too.

i came home from a long night from either sasha @ crobar or hernan over the summer at 8:30am and im still rollin haha and my dads at coffee table, readin the paper and goes..long night eh? ur eyes are pretty big...im like "YEA LONG NIGHT FOR SURE IM TIRED IM GOIGN TO SLEEP" of course i said it like a fucking crackhead haha hes like ya get some rest ur fucked up..im like ok goodnight..hes like good morning

this person I know, his mother loved to search and destory and then complain then never speak of it again, now she just put sup with it, as this person I know lives alone now with their own place.

I'm usually vey liberal but when it comes to drugs I'm more on the conservative side. If I had a son/daughter who did drugs....Off with their head I say!!!

moral of the story, hide your drugs and paraphernalia where your mum wont find them

i never had a problem, b/c my mom never went thru my stuff, and i wouldnt leave stuff in plain sight.

Well my mom knew I smoked back in the days and now we occasionally joke about it (she jokes but I know she's a bit afraid of it)
Came home a few times still rolling but they didn't notice it, and I went straight to my room (different floor )

Think they would freak out... cause they know shit about it.

when i was 16 once i came back from school and came into my room ....on my desk there was the box where i used to put my pot the ciggies and the paper to roll joints and my dad came just after and says ok that's what we found is your room explain to your mom and I that
i wa so embarassed and was like "huh well it's not mine i just keep it from a friend i don't smoke "
and they just argued so much telling i would end up selling my body for drugs ....
and for a long time every time i was going out at nite when i would come back they would smell me to know if i smoked or not and would check my eyes to see if they were red it pissed me off so much

like last year i told my mom i did other drugs like amphetamine and E or shrooms and my mom just said "oh but i know u needed to do drugs " but since i don't do drugs anymore just sometimes smoking she doesn't care i guess

i beg to differ. during the summer seems like i can't go a mile down the road here in central louisiana without seeing/smelling a dead skunk.
