Mauro Picotto

Finally got to see Mauro Picotto (with Marco V) at Home in Sydney last night (and into the wee hours of this morning....) Man, he absolutely blew the place away. People up on the second level were literally standing there with their jaws open. I've never seen anyone with such a command of the floor. And no train wrecks. Good value -- glad I went.

its about time.. the last time he played good in canada was probably 2002

numerous occasions in Scotland ive seen him and each time he ripped the place apart!

a must see!

In Melbourne he played them, Baguette, Lizard, Iguana, most if not all of his other big tracks.

Had I been more in the mood for him I'm sure I woulda enjoyed his set a lot more than I did, but it'd been a long day. Really wasn't in the mood for his unrelenting banging style, wish I was though cos it was a pretty good set, I just couldn't get into it at the time. Can't say I paid any attention to his mixing though

have a listen to his trance energy set from 2001 then..

Not sure... sorry, I was kinda lost in the whole thing... moving not thinking... combined with my techno n00bness. I'm quite sure I remember Floating, and am pretty sure Back to Cali was in there. I most definitely remember going hard out for six hours, and dancing a couple times better than I ever thought I could. And no I wasn't rollin

WERD!

Seen him 3 times & he always delivers. By far the best shows ive been to.

Posted by Zinger on Nov-28-2005 01:24:

Anyone who has EVER been to Mauro shows knows that he is an incredible performer. His mixing is great, he takes you on a real journey and his connection with the crowd he plays to is always amazing. Way better than any of the top 5 dj's armin, tiesto, ferry and pvd....sasha is the exception

Both times I saw him I wondered why I liked him in the first place.

Has he released any new material in the past couple years? I really liked what he did with back to cali. Was good. I would appreciate if someone could update me if he did any remixes or produced any tracks this past year.
