And also will I know if I die cos of overdose? I mean I am in a trip right?

I'm pretty sure that regardless of when you die, you probably don't know you are dead. I'm sure that there are situations in which you are aware that you are dying but, how can you know that you are dead once you lose consciousness?

I'm assuming that death and uncosciousness happen at the exact same moment; I don't see how it could be otherwise unless we start talking about afterlife and such.

But you can't be dead without, in the end, being unconcious.

It would be difficult to process such information without a functional brain.

unconsciousness is temporary while death is perminant.

If a person is sleeping & someone places a cyanide capsule in the sleeping persons mouth & cracks it on their tooth so they breath it in, they may suddenly wake for a second before death. In that one or so seconds I do not think the person will have enough time to register what is actually going on; that they have been poisoned. The person will only know that the body is having a seizure/convulsions. i am not exactly sure how cyanide works, but I know that it attacks cells & prevents them from using oxigen; so it would be a respitatory failure that leads to death, & who knows how long that takes.

I watched the Germin war film 'Downfall' which is about the last days of Hitler & in it 6 kids are given a lethal dose of cyanide & it took just a few seconds for death to occur. They twitched a bit (maybe a small convulsions) & then lay still, though they did not open their eyes (they were given sleeping pills prior). Freaken great movie btw.

After death there is nothing. Not a thing = doornail.

I see. Well, I'm also inclined to think that one would probly not know whether they died or not and perhaps even have a perpetual kind of dream where they thought they were alive and considered everything real, no matter what kind of incredible dream/nightmare it may be. But ultimately the question is insoluble, as there's no research that can account for any posthumous experiences....afaik.

don't use that tone of foam on me!


and also, death is death your dead, the body dies no more animate unless you get bit by a zmobie, but is a zombie consciouss, is the person aware of what their reanimated bodty is doing without being able to control it?

This is like the most freaky, surreal and introspective thread. The bad news is we'll be dead, the good news is depending on your viewpoint we'll all get to find out one day, of course we all won't be sleeping when we get that chance.
