Hello! Synth Programming On Virus C

hello Members!

have anyone Virus C ? B ? A ? Ti ?

I have Virus C Desktop, im realy newbie to hardware.

Could YOu give me some tips ? how to create sounds on Virus ?

Im making mainly trance music.

i want create sounds like above and beyond Have

Maybe, if you dont mind sharing patches for Virus? or Yors tutorial, HOW to make this sound. etc.

i do not know the basis, how does the Virus work.
How it makes sounds.

will you help me guys? i want to learn how to create sounds.
maybe you have interesting links to different sites connected with synth programming.

etc.

Dude, have you read the manual and the tutorial booklet. They're pretty good. I made a tutorial ages ago for doing a nice lead. Don't know if it's still around, it was a long time ago.

Start with a simple lead.

Run osc 1 as a saw, osc 2 as saw or square. Turn unison up to like 3 or 4. Turn sub osc up to half. Add some pulse width modulation, a bit of noise, some reverv/delay, bit of chorus. Set the filter envelopes to determine if you want a lead or a pluck sound.

I really suggest you try reading the manual though. Another great way is to pull up patches on sounddiver and see all the parameters and how those patches are created.

That and you should probably try learning a little bit about synthesis I mean you just bought a nice piece of hardware right there and you don't know how to use it? Try to get some knowledge on synthesis and check out people's patches and develop your skills from there and you'll be making above and beyond leads, pads and the like in...a year? ;P I dunno good luck though
