Review : King Louis, DJ Kal, Nick Pilon @ Aria 25/11/2005

Got there @ 2am...didn't stop til 9am. All three were incredible (nice going electro Louis ) and I got to meet and talk with Kal for a bit...very cool guy. I wanted to go to Stereo cuz of C&C but I didn't wanna leave Aria...I was having too mch fun dancing! Nick had an awesome crowd connection; he gets so into it, I love that!. Overall, A+...don't think I've ever had a resident night like that...



PS: did any of you not see the little blonde girl? I was hoping to meet some of u...oh well, next time.

Morillo maybe...Laval never Satoshi at stereo pwns...if you dont agree you should change your nick... and if im not mistaken you were at Max Graham/Chris Fortier...i think we shared the floor for a while...then again there were many little blond girls there

i didn't get the chance to listen to Louis coz i got there at like 5 ... Kal i guess was spining and he was very very very good got me in the mood till Nick came on ... seriously who fucking needs tij when nick is on ?? Am sure it was a way better set than tiesto ... plus plenty of room to dance , ... just perfect

I was wearing a black top and light blue jeans...LONG blond hair... and shades...anyways, I totally agree...who needs Traffic when you have Nick Pilon spinning that amazing tracklist?! I loved it...much more room to dance and no chance of getting thrown out by cops when you paid 100$+ for your night...

Wish I could have made it...but as I stated in the other thread, I was in the TANK until about noon on saturday thanks to my rowdy ass drunkenfunken american buddies visiting from Vegas. Fakin unreal, haven't been in the tank since bloody University...What a shitty night. Fakin PIGS

what a great resident night. First time i see nick pilon and Kal, both were awesome.pumping tech-house from kal was relly amazing, my legs are dead because of his pumping beat hehe(the drill w00t ). Louis played a solid set, really good. Nick pilon WOW!!!! trance music at the best, really relaxing for the end of the night, loved his set, damn he was fuckn incredible.
i'm sorry for what happened to you ninja, fuckn sucks man. hope to see u on the dancefloor soon !!
ps to stereohead: i think i saw u, when kal was spining u were on one of the front speaker,i had a blue jean and a black tanktop .i was dancing n' jumping in front of the speaker like crazyyyyy loooooool

The "tank" or "drunk tank" is a holding cell in a police station where they throw the out of control drunks, rowdies, and people who do things that don't warrant jail time, just time in a cell to sober up. bah... i wanted to play house.. but was asked to play electro and tech...

kal started techy but realised house was getting a much better response... so he went up and down with the styles and it was fakin good...

next time we play together on a friday, itll be chicago and tech-house all night special edition baby

Like everyone else, I agree that the night was fucking great: all three DJs shined and had A-M-A-Z-I-N-G track selection...from house to tech-house to electro to the best trance out there...I felt bad to leave early but I was soooo tired and while I was in coatcheck waiting to leave, Nick was just putting these incredible tracks one after another..the guy was a monster. When I talked to people later on, they told me he does the sickest raves and I can only imagine...any chance of that happening any time soon Nick?

All in all, best moment of the night: I think Kal was finishing his set and all you hear is 'Fuck Tiesto!' - I love it.

Circus had Tiesto, Stereo had Chus & Cebalus but Aria had the party of the night!

definitely an awesome night!! it was my first time
at aria that friday and thanks to some pointers from the MTLTAs...
we definitely landed at the right place...
i got there around 3 or so , i dont know who was spinning then
but man that dude knows how to mixx!!! especially the tiesto bits

but i was there for the trance and nick brought it!!
holy crap..... i dont remember anything that happened
in those last few hours... but i do remember my favourite
track from this summer... AIR FOR LIFE --- !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

great track selection.. awesome mixing... great night..

when the music stopped we headed over to stereobar..
it was my first time there too... other than getting a titty
twister from some gay guy... i had alot of fun there too.. left
from there at like 5:00pm or somethin...

now saturday night... we decided to go to stereo.. i had the best time there last time i was there in the summer when lawler came..
but this time was messsssed up!! for some reason.. i was extremely paranoid of the whole gay scene..the entire night... i think it was the incident earlier that day that kinda spoiled it for me...
but all in all... i would say that was a greaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat weekend!!

Kal and Funkenlouis always rock the place and they are so great person. Two Resident djs to watch in the next month. I'd love to make the party with them but I was in Quebec City.

Friday crowd was very special!!
