Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs*

Has anyone read this book?
I'm in the process of reading it an di have to say its GREAT...
Its defined by the author as a 'low culture manifesto" and thats exactly what it is...
from chapters discussing The Sims to The Real World to Billy Joel to Saved By the Bell and to the Zodiac Killer...
this books is great.. very funny.. i strongly suggest it to anyone who lived as an adolecent to an early adult between the 80s and 90s

great read...

I'm all over pop culture books and Klosterman is one of my favourites. Being a sports fan, I also loved the Celtics chapter and Chuck is now writing columns on ESPN.com Page 2 after his great correspondence emails with Bill Simmons (the Sports Guy).

I'm in midst of reading Everything Bad is Good For You which is another take on pop culture and how it's not all bad. Klosterman's new book is next on my list Killing Yourself to Live.

Readings for nerds. All the cool kids moved into the 22nd century and started watchin TV.

But I kid. TV is destroying the youth.
Might give this book a try.. except im not really interested in anything during the late 80's/early 90's.

The title of the book sounds like my life, so I guess I might check it out when I'm done reading my other book: Neuromuscular Biomechanics
