No more govt (of sorts)

There go the Liberals.

Elections are set for what January?

Posted by KrinKer on Nov-29-2005 00:50:

3rd Monday of Januray i think

Which will give a 50something day long campaing, which would be funny and long and lead to a not big % of people voting, either way, it'll end in an another minority govt.

That will be about it... and it will start all over again!
Unless there has been a huge change of thought since the last election, which is highly unlikely.

More likely

It'll be a minor tories govt.

It'll mean two things

The end of the liberal ( and the end of the "desequilibre fiscal")
The End of both Paul Martin and Stephen harper

KrinKer

Posted by malek on Nov-29-2005 02:20:

c'est ca qui est le best pour l'instant...

on peut pas se permettre de reelire le parti liberal a cause des depenses incroyables faits dans la derniere semaine, 40aine de milliards en une semaine... wow c'est mon argent ca aussi (1290$)

Posted by malek on Nov-29-2005 03:39:

juste pour preciser, les depenses ne sont pas encore faites parcequ'ils n'ont pas etes voter... alors ils se transforment en promesse electorale....

ce qui veut dire qu'il faut absolument pas voter pour eux et gaspiller tout cet argent.

Les conservateurs:

-reconnaissance du caractere distinct du Quebec
-Correction du desiquilbre fiscal
-baisse des impots.

Oh please... you really think thats gonna happen once they will be in power?

And remember what they did last time to our economy? Killed it by amassing billions of dollars in debt, when the liberals arrived in power we were paying 36 cents per tax dollar in interest for the debt, until they fixed it. We were not even getting an AAA credit rating.

Oh and I just love their social values

Yeah - don't be so quick to forget everything the tories have done. And remember this is mostly a pro-prairies party, and amongst their support base is a fairly large anti-quebec racist movement. They're making promises now just to get your votes - just like paul martin is doing with the money wasting. As for the liberal party, their nature is to change and "go with the flow". They're supposed to adapt to social movements and change their policies accordingly (as opposed to the other parties which as mostly fixed). The problem right now is that the liberals are relying on the fact that nobody wants the conservatives. So it's like you're giving them a free pass and saying "ok guys, great job! Don't change anything!".
