Copyrights, Licensing,and The United States

Want a good gague of how enforcable the United States' copyright laws are on a global scale?

Venezuela has recently completed a deal with Spain to buy 20 military planes and boats. Of course, Venezuela is seens as a minor "threat" to the US, and the US is trying to block the deal because the weapons contain US technology. A spokesman for the state deparment noted that the "are currently looking at technology licensing issues," and that "there hasn't been any final conclusion on that question yet".

There is no precedent for a country blocking an arms sale on these grounds, though a compromise could be reached that all US technology is removed before the sales go through. I'm guess ing the US is just blwoing wind and that theyll either lose this case or get a compromise from Spain.

everyone knows that vid was nonsense and showed nothing of what it claimed to

furthermore, technology is usually top secret, especially in military terms so they will win the case.
