Should I get an iBook g4 on ebay?

They're going for just over $500, maybe $600 used but in damn nice condition.

Apple store in the mall here they go for $999 brand new...plus you have to sit there for 4 hours while the guy at the desk explains the warranty to you.

If you need a laptop, id say go for it. with enough ram, it oculd easily be a great dedicated laptop for FS2, serato, ableton, etc...

Don't buy it just to buy it tho..

Make sure u buy extra ram as well, as i doubt those will have more than 512..

1.33ghz with 768mb RAM or 1.33 with 512mb RAM

I am buying it...just to have a laptop. I don't need a laptop for anything, but i'll bring it to school & bring it around & use it for intarweb everywhere. I just want a laptop really.

I don't have FS or SSL and i'm not looking at buying it

Laptops are great, im on one right now.

go for the 768 rammer.

so u can ram stuff better.

Damn didn't realise they were that cheap on ebay, I'm picking up a 20" Imac G5 this weekend, can't wait, I had it with MS, I've been wanting to switch to OSX for ages.
