My second time remixing this track. Do be sure to let me know what you think, and, as always, enjoy.

linkey linkey

nice,

BUT good work, mix is tight, melody is a bit all over though, but the production carries it along.

Thanks for the comments, Sean.

I loved the original of this track, managed to miss your first remix so can't compare but looking forward to checking this out:

Listening now...

Bass could be a bit more interesting at the start, maybe make the quieter element a little louder and tweak it a bit (sounds like it's got a bit too much resonance possibly) (my opinion)
Like the first synth.
Breakdown (~3 min)
Nice building here, like the variation on the original melody.
Second break (~5 min)
Outro now.

Hmm, I like the track, but it seemed a little repetitive, there wasn't much which really caught my interest. Also, the track seemed pretty different than the original as far as remixes go. Not necessarily a bad thing, just I loved the melody of the original which wasn't too present in this mix. Overall, a nice track, not my cup of tea but definately well produced.

Cheers for sharing, keep up the good work.

EDIT: Just read your post in Wim's original thread saying how you disliked the original melody. Guess thats why you decided to scrap it, heh.

I wouldn't say I scraped it... just did a major overhaul.

Glad you enjoyed the track, thanks for the comments.

I like the intro fxes.
Nice 303's.
I like the percs.
The riff is ok. I like the 303 arp thing in the back.
I don't like the sparkling thing.
Nice lead as before.
I liked the sutters in the old version, where did they go?
This one is better fx and perc wise but the older version was much more interesting.

6.5/10
Omer.

great track this one, one of the best ive heard here this year..

Posted by alanzo on Nov-29-2005 19:46:

I took out the edits because I felt they took away from the driving motion of the track.

Thanks for the comments.

I'm very glad you liked it so much.

This is somewhat of a different sound for me, much more driving and trancier than any of my previous tracks. Definitly going to stick with it.

Thanks for the comment.

Haha.. the thought occured to me that it was possible for this to happen at some point since I mostly use loops from Vengeance Essential Club Sounds for percussion. But they sound so good, so it's worth it.

Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comments.

Imo it makes more drive.
It is also very unique and original.
But it's your track, not mine...

Omer.

great track, loving the main melody. the synth you used for it is a tad too soft i reckon, especially compared to the original. and again, a clap would be a welcomed addition. the hats seem to be a bit loud in the mix as well.

as a whole, this is a very good remix though.

Ugh... you're definitly right about that. Was wondering why my head hurt.

I fixed it and reuploaded it to my server. I'll have to be more careful of that from now on, this isn't the first time I've done that. Thanks a lot!

Hey Alan,

Nice intro's as well. I like the way you always use something different to pure beats. It's cool!

Liking the perc, it give a driving edge. Signature Reverse kick from you too!

Dunnno what the f*ck it is in the back ground, some sorta acid line of effect but it reminds me of the acid line in Robert Nickson's remix of Thomas Datt 2vs2. I love that little effect thing thats going on!

Nice break down, synth work is nice, riff is cool.

It all sounds very well produced. I like it, will end up playing this for sure. Only thing I wasn't super keen on is the bass. Its not as powerful as some of your other works.

Damn tasty all the same mind!

Good Job dude!

Aye, it's a very Alan-M intro. I love it.
The build is superb, the percs are immense and the production is quality.

Icone should be proud.

good stuff, nice melodies! good job on this track mate.. the fx on the basws remembers me to robert nickson - spiral. melodies after the break are a little too long i think, maybe you should add 2 breaks or something. anyway well done man

cheers

Nice percs, lovin the hi hats.

Nice bassline, good fx, good synths.

Its a nice track overall, however I like some of ur other work more then this. This isn't quiet ur trademark compared to ur other tracks.

8/10

Ah yes! Quality stuff again.

Very energetic song, nice pumping bassline. I was kind of expecting something more forceful for the melody. It sounds kind of subtle if not subdued. Sounds great overall though.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

I love pumping basslines... This track practically glows in it's bass warmth.

THe airy, soft leads are to my liking. Energy to the masses, this is alot more epic than I was anticipating... sweet!

The breakdown has it's own synth riff that energizes this track to the max.

I love this style. The new saw-lead is what this genre is all about. It's not overpowering.

Thanks for making my day!
