i never was a huge tribal fan...i get tired of it really easy...i like it better when you throw in maybe a track here or there, but not all tribal because it becomes too montonous for me.

one person who's style of tribal i always liked though was Praha...nice and banging...

TOm Stephan = Superchumbo..

try searching for that.

I like to play some harder drummy stuff.. some of the kobbe and leads massive drummy stuff.. that stuff has bite.

15 minutes (dub) FTW!

I play two or three Tribal House tunes at the end of my sets. Building it up and ending with them puts out so much energy. Good shit.

Yes, people love the drums once the energy is there.

They don't play together anymore. I saw them at their last US gig at Crobar for my birthday in 2004. They're both doing solo projects now.

Satan (eek!)

Lemme help ol Mario

The greatest tribal compilation is still Nubreed 3, if you don't have it, buy it, still hands down the best.

Now deejays that still play tribal,

Tom Stephan (still playing tribal)
Danny Tenaglia (tho he blends tribal with lots of stuff, GU017 CD1 is proof)
Lawler is playing more electro but see the man live, still tribal
Peter Rauhofer (legend)
Saeed Younan (check out his latest mix CD on *69 records, its badass)
Chus and his buddy don't really play much tribal, its a dark mix of ibiran house, which I find is really different.
Peter Bailey is often forgotten these days but he is really a king of tribal.

How is she? She's closing for Donald Glaude this weekend, which I think I'll be hitting up instead of Markus Schulz and Gabriel & Dresden.

i used to be really big with trance and progressive. since i moved in the philippines and been influenced with the music (House), i have crossed the boundaries and covered many miles of my journey to discover the genre of house, and more especially the tribal house music. its not like any other music. this genre has something with it that makes you just wana jump and just dance your ass off and go wild. there is soooo much energy. i love shit like this especially playing tribal at the club is just amazing. doesnt even matter if people never heard of it. they still love music liek this.

check out....
antoine clamaran, tony thomas (tech-house/tribaltech), not really into chus and ceballos anymore, the southern brothers are also good, roger sanchez still plays alot of tribal music.

Eric Entrena, Rick Pier O'neil, Coldfusion, Santos, Togo, Dformation, Victor Calderone, just to name a few are pretty much hard tribal! very very hard and banging. check out their music.

enjoy.
