New Scott Yee mix for download!

Hey all!

After many late nights and weekends, I�ve finally completed my first mix done in Ableton Live, 4am this morning. (My apologies to LeeAnn for the late night thumping.) At first, my intention was to record myself doing a live mix in Live using a midi controller but as the project droned on, my evil perfectionism kicked in, and the final outcome is a fully sequenced mix. Keys were changed, parts were looped and entire tracks were reworked to insure the smoothest mix to my ability.

The theme of the mix is dark and moody which I hope is reflected. Not something I would play in a club necessarily. I have saved the bangers for this Saturday. ;-) Most of the tracks can be found on various digital download sites, mainly beatport.com. Tracklist will be coming soon. Hope you all enjoy it! Comments are very much welcomed, good or bad.

Love the mix Scott... Nice and Dark... Good to Thump to at night if you know what I mean! Just the set I have been looking for! I do have one suggestion/dislike with the start of the set but I will discuss that with you in person. Over all A to A+ Set!! You have gotten good at your new toy.

The remix I have has really light drums rock n roll style. So I added some new drums, made various edits and prepped it for the closing track of the set.

Awesome stuff... So organic and dark, yet bright and hopeful at the end... The mix resolves the tension really well as it progresses.. You really outdid yourself on this one dude... You're definately a star on the rise

omg, so fuckin good. well done again scott! thanks!

i love the opening track and actually every other track and the ending song is also badass, i really like teh guitar sounds.

mix from track 5 to 6 was a little abrubt to me, only because the bassline in 5 is so low and thumping and hypnotic and then all the sudden 6 comes in a little diff.

but of course, i give A++! i listened to it on the way to work even and i NEVER listen to music on the way to work (except for your last mix and sometimes coldplay, ha)
