Tiefschwarz was formed in 1996 by two brothers � Alexander and Sebastian Schwarz � who have been successful DJs for over a decade. Peter Hoff, who runs the Benztown studios in Stuttgart, completes the Tiefschwarz production team. Ali and Basti came up with the name for their project after a DJ gig. Tiefschwarz, which is German for 'deep black', is a mixture of their last name, Schwarz, and their love for deep house.Besides their work as resident DJs, Ali and Basti have been travelling together throughout Europe and overseas since 1995. They've played at countless major events and the most popular clubs in both Germany and Switzerland (Z�rich, Geneva, Lausanne, Bern, Basle, etc.) as well as in major foreign cities, such as Miami (W.M.C.), New York, Washington, Melbourne, Sydney, Prague, Sarajevo, Amsterdam, Brussels, Antwerp, Rimini, Stockholm, London, Leeds, Sheffield, Ibiza, etc.After six years of DJing and promoting, the two brothers began producing their own tracks. They co-founded the "continuemusics" label in 1996, on which their first single, "24 seven," with remixes by Boris Dlugosh and Michi Lange, was released along with four other tracks.Tiefschwarz have remixed around 30 tracks for artists such as Ultra Nat�,Byron Stingily, Jam & Spoon, Jennifer Paige, Randy Crawford, Master At Work, Earth Wind and Fire, Shakatak, Mousse T., AWA band, Whirlpool prod., Sabrina Johnson and Sharon Philips.The name Tiefschwarz stands high alongside other legendary German acts such as Boris Dlugosch, Mousse T., Knee Deep, Ian Pooley, Dixon, Jazzanova, Rainer Tr�by, Ata and Vincenzo. As DJs, Tiefschwarz have gained a great reputation on the international house scene.

Nope, I'm getting my wisdom pulled at 5 pm that day. Yippee!! . I'm hoping I can make Howells and Christina's birthday that weekend and don't have to spend it in a painkiller coma.

haha, good luck. I had mine out this summer and was out of commission for like three days. The pain killers were definitely fun though.

Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it. One the plus side, I'm only having the left side done, because my dentist didn't feel that the others had to come out. I just wonder how long it'll be until they change their mind and I'm having the right side done.

had ALL four of mine taken out in june 2001. i will never forget it. i was on antibiotics so the strongest medicine i could get was codine (read: def not strong enough). 2 were impacted, 2 were not.

we were moving at the time and i was hallucinating for 4 days straight-- i remember sitting underneath the dining room table rocking in fetal position thinking that the movers were robbers and i was safe between the chairs and under the table ..one day i woke up in the closet... lost 7lbs in 7 days...i could only open my mouth just big enough to fit 1 raisin at a time. oh the pain...

..but ryan, i knew people that had them out, felt 100% fine and went right back to work the next day!

The ONE party in December I would go to!

Count me in for this one...

I was at Cielo last month for Roger Sanchez on a Thursday and it was arguably the best party i've been to all year.

Cielo is a great venue during the week, especially @ 2 by the time all the shirts and ties go home.

Hey, I'm a shirt and tie! And yes, I usually do go home by 2 or 3 on a week night. I should stay and see what the real party is like. The floor probably opens up and 200 clowns come out of nowhere. And cake, is there cake? And punch! Oooh, are there pole dancers and strippers giving free lap dances in the corners? Must be a great party!

I miss TIEFSCHWARZ ...ya know the housey TIEFSCHWARZ. RAL9005 (I think thats it(I know thay did a bunch before that too)) album is one of my favs.

That electro/minimal sound must be put to rest already.
