Does this guy have a life?

I love that Temporary Autonomous Zone book which was mentioned in this cartoon.

you kids should all read it:
http://www.hermetic.com/bey/taz_cont.html

horay for anarchy! I have seen TAZ talked about like it is the raver's bible from several different sources, but to be honest I don't think I have ever met any anarchists at a party before. Perhaps it is because of where I live, most people are passionate republicans instead. From the looks of things it seems like old raves were all about some anarchy but I have never really found an event like that, ocassionaly there will be something similar in the country or at somebody's house but nobody really goes out of their way to create that special type of chaos that TAZ describes.

It really does make me a bit curious why ravers from back in the day mention TAZ so much, were alot of old ravers anarchists? I have never really met any anarchists in my partying travels outside of rock shows.

not really

This is the first post I have found that links to this cartoon in MD. While the topic on tiesto has been beaten to death already I thought it was still an interesting cartoon for the TAZ refernces.

But nobody is interested in the TAZ references except me, sigh. I try to say something interesting, to see if ravers really were such big anarchists as this cartoon indicates, and nobody gives a damn, perhaps I should just start another topic.

Even to this day, ain't no one more popular than 2 Unlimited! Go to any sports arena, and you're guaranteed to hear at least 3 of their tracks. How many Tiestin van Corstenfold tracks do you hear? Zero, HAH!
