Seth Macfarlane's student film: The beginnings of Family Guy

| This link goes to a video of Seth McFarlane's Student Film. What is really strange about it, is that it is in many ways exactly the same as Family Guy, even having the exact same dialogue as the the show at times, yet it is done in a 70's-80's style animation. It won't take you long to spot the similarities and differences between this film and its modern descendent Family Guy. |
Thank you.
...
whoa...
cool!
So budget, I love it. I remember that British drive-by thing being in an episode of Family Guy too, I can't remember which.
I can't get enough of the over-the-top English mockery.
it's clever, ingenious humour like this that's missing from family guy nowadays

i haven't watched family guy since season 4 episode 10....so yea...maybe i'll give it a shot again someday
haha...excellent! i think Larry & Steve was the original idea behind Family Guy...theres an unaired pilot episode of the family guy around with just larry and steve....i guess they decided to go for more characters and morphed it into The Family Guy as we now know it.
I see no similarities whatsoever.

Hah, classy. Star trek parody rules. lol
nice, thank you

All the comedy in this was later used in Family Guy Episodes. It is neat to see how the animation and voices matured, although a few voices are nearly the same. Thanks for the links.
Cale.. THANK YOU!
on a slightly related note i just recently read seth macfarlane was suppose to be on the L.A. 9/11 flight that got hijacked....after being 10 minutes late macfarlane took a seat beside some fellow as they watched the events take place on the airport tv. seth then remarks 'hey, i was suppose to be on the plane!'
loooks like god really wanted us to have family guy...
