Trance Energy 2002 is too big
TE2002 is, according to trance.nu, too big. The progressive area will be canceled (no Stef, Marco V, Danny Howells or Alison Marks
). Only 25 000 tickets will be sold, meaning it's almost sold out.

Ah well...25,000 is enough
Is it definate about Marco V though, just coz they're closing that Arena, they might just move him into a different room.
Wow its sooo sad for me......this news is affecting me bad.....i love huge raves.......& since the new law with no more than 25,000 ppl... that means....SENSATION will not be as big as i hoped for when i will go next year......& its really bad.....cuz Trance Energy is also a great event....too bad Marco V is gone....but hopefully they will change him into a diff room....because he is honestly a really great dj
< POLSKA POWER >
DJ XtReMe......aka Grass|Polak
yeah this sux
whoever made that law
I FART ON YOUR FACE!!!
guys u cant even listen to all Djs at the same time...like theres best of all Djs in every room... i dont think it would be nice to be missing on one while listening to the other....
aaarg fack, this totally sucks, no marco v =/ and i bought my ticket yesterday.........but it is NOT a new law, so dont be affraid for sensation and stuff..
its just that since the zaandam incident (someone died cos of an overdose) that regional gouvernments (im sure theres a better word for this but i cant come up with it hehe) are afraid to give out a permit for such huge events....and this is very sad, so i want to say to the mayor of utrecht and his fucked up friends who took this decision...DIE FUKKING SLOWLY! (sorry heh, im pretty angry)
id&t is planning to go to court and maybe this way they can save the first id of the party (40,000ppl WITH progressive area AND marco v!!)
for more info www.id-t.com (dutch)
peace
We get a kick out of 1000-1500 people here. The chances of getting a party of that size here, are next to .... well .... impossible.
I'd still donate my left nut to go to TE2002 !
this totally sucks!!..
well, biggest party i've been to was no more then 4000 ppl
i dunno what your crying about
25,000 is a SHITLOAD of ppl!!!!!
sucks about marco v though..

I wish i could go anyway.....

The problem is that a indoor party with 40.000 people can't be made as safe as it has to be now! That the organisatores learned from Innercity a few days ago. The Netherlands have already had bad experience with this in 2000 when 12 young people died because of a fire in a disco! The city government from Utrecht will make a new law on January 10th that non open air partys with more then 25.000 will not be allowed anymore! This means that Trance Energy only can sell 25.000 tickets for this edition! The result of this is that the progressive area will not take place this Trance Energy! So all people who wanna go there to see Stef, Marco V, Danny Howells or Alison Marks have bad luck!
BTW, I have no chance of going anyway, so to all those that were...

Hey guys, consider yourself lucky. Over here, we have problems throwing parties for more than 2000 ppl without having the authority on our asses. Our scene is going down the tubes. I wish we could have a 25000 people party (especially TRANCE party) but hey, that's the breaks. Weird how they put Marco V in the Progressive arena though and shitty that you guys miss out on Danny Howells. Top DJ. Have fun at TE 2002 anywayz. Cheers.
Bah at least you people get parties at all. Here in the U.S.A. we get NOTHING, and if we do it's no where near where I live. Hell I don't even get a dance radio station of any kind here. Heh Alabama's most-listened-to music is rap and alternative/rock. UGH!
Man I'd love to go to a party of ANY size, but the bigger the better of course. Hope all of you TA's have fun at Trance Energy though. Just imagine me there with you.
Well I live in Utrecht (well next to it) and the problem is that the city government won't believe it's safe. I only don't understand why the fire department and the police have said that its save to get 40.000 people in the Jaarbeurs. With that statement you think its okay.
But our city government thinks otherwise. This is not the first time that our city government have screwed up a rave. In utrecht there is every year a event called "Udance" this outdoor dance festival has many visitors. Well the case of this is that the city government didn't allowed the organisation to party till 02:00 in the night. They have stopped it on 01:00 well okay 1 hours, but that again a pretty cool hour that have been canceled.
In the time of the other party's there where more problems like this. Ill hope the city government can learn about other city governments like Amsterdam. Because this is just silly. And the Jaarbeurs is a good complex to allow more then 40.000 people. The complex owner says thats it's possible to host about 80.000 people. Well thats the half more then planned. And still Utrecht is going to cancel it.
But we will see it at thursday 10 januari, then the city government will pronounce if the event can allow 40.000 people or not. If not ID&T will go to court and fight this descision. So till then it's not sure about this issue. But it's most likely that this 25.000 people rule will stand.
Well ill hope you have now enough information about it
greetings
p.s. about marco v, it's sad. Ill hope ID&T will replace Jean for Marco V

NOOOOOOOO
Not Marco V!!!! Take anyone else away, but not Marco V!!!! How can you deprive the world of Marco V?? This is cruel and unusual!!!!
*weeps uncontrollably*
