Yeah it's a great commercial and no that isn't Gene Kelly's face. I remember reading an article about this commercial and they mention it's some breakdancer, but not Gene Kelly since he's dead.

no, that was the original version of singing in the rain, that was later cut due to heavy censorship by the MPAA.

it is gene kelly's face. this is actually one of the best commercials ever made. like the thread title, a bold one, but I'd say as good as true
