Ur all a bunch of bloody leechers!!

OK were were talking about leechers in the chatroom and it occured to me that the reason I originally came to this site was to get tunes, I wasn't really interested in finding a nice community to chat about music and other stuff with, I just wanted tunes and lots of 'em!! Of course once I found out what a pleasant group of individuals you all were I stuck around. Plus I thought if I got to know everybody better it'd lead to more tunes

OK that last bit was a joke, but I basically stuck around because of the community and made a lot of friends here, and now I share as well as leech (well probably not to a respectable ratio but I try) and help out by lending my webspace when I can.

But basically, I began as a leech So I just wondering, anybody else the same or just me? And if not how did you find TA/why did you keep coming back?

i found out about TA through word of mouth. I started coming because practically NOBODY in my area knows anything about trance. TA is pretty much the only place I can talk to people on the same level. Also, I love how everyone shares and how this is truly a global community.

i found this website on Napster when i was looking up trance music and www_trancEaddict_com pops up. so i got every archive that i could get and i enjoy my TA Archive compilations more than any other cds that i have. For the past 11 months ive been in TA though I dont even have a cd burner anymore so i havnt made any cds since early FEB of 2001, which totally sucks. but i still come here all the time to get information, share information and ask other peoples opinions on cds before i go out and buy them. im glad that i found this website or i propably wouldnt be such a trancEaddict that i am today.

Spad......you have a point. I should know cause i'm in the chatroom often. But what can you do about it ?.

Yeah.. I also came here to leech at first. But now I�m here every day talking about trance and other stuff.. I can�t really keep away. You become a trancEaddict-addict.

I friend showed me TA who only comes here to leech. The nerve!!

i found TA the same way as Justin did.... through Napster and the ID3 tags on MP3's.... but, like most others, i was on here for months before registering (see: leeching)... but i hope my contribution to this society has more than made up for it But make no mistake, i'm still a leecher And why shouldn't i be? all the good stuff to get from this site! I'm not going to be some pretentious asshole who's preoccupied with image and claim that i don't leech.... anyone who's on this site and doesn't leech is either a lier or a moron....or both - missed opportunities!

i originally came for the unknown tracks part... i was complaining to jason (j-spot) one day about finding a track from a PvD liveset... he told me to come and post a sample here... i've been hooked since... damn, that was a long time ago...

i came here to leech (who didn't) lol and then to get tracks identifying ... and now i'm in love with this place

ok, really I dont leech from here. I used to snag as many m.vids as I could when there used to be a hella lot up...then I saw the unknown tracks, got a song IDed..just hung for a bit, then jumped in

Really..I dont DL much, ever since napster went down, my file sharing has gone way down..

I was watching porn on the internet when a TA banner popped up.....I thought I would find some hardcore porn here

i don't remember how i found TA, I always look for trance videos so maybe i came here for the vidz.

Now I just dl mp3z from TA. Waited 6 months or more b 4 registering for forum,I waited so long becuase I feel forums are addictive, once you begin posting and know the forum, you are hooked.

of course i started as a leecher, like everybody(?), i only looked into the forums, but i didn�t post, and then some months ago i registered

i heard about TA from a friend. I do download but what do you guys mean when you say leechers?? Is that like a person that comes in downloads all the tunes and doesn't say anything in the forums??

Well i first came to tranceaddict coz a friend fo mine got flutlicht - icarus off it, so i came to download it, then oiccasionally i came back until id got every new tune. then i decided to post my opinion on a tune, souvinir de chine i think it was. i cudnt post coz i wasnt registered and i saw boy trances sig on the thread, and it had memory in his fave tunes, at the time i had never heard it so gotstraight to d/ling it! then i went in the forums and noticed it was huge, so i decided to join to get to know more tranceaddict in the hope of finding out the newest tunes! as i usually do online subconciously i make friends with the people who come in the most often, the regulars as it were, and then i made friends with u lot in the uk forum and then met yaz at crasher. the end

when i first came here, there was a forum, containing like only a music section

anyways, i stuck around cos i was quite ignorant about trance, dj's, and stuff, and just started asking a lot of questions, reading the forums and stuff..

of course, stuck around for the tunes as well
it's only recently i've actually started to meet some ppl from the forums..

when i first started to visit the site in august 2000, i came to dl a music vid i had been looking for

after i found out about the forum some weeks later, i have always come here for the forum

these days i dont dl anything of the files swamper puts up (usually i already have them, or they arent songs i want) or anything from the music disc. section either =/
i have other sources for files and music
i (almost) never stop by the "news section" here.. always right into the forums typing w-w-w-.-t-r-a-n-c-e-a-d-d-i-c-t-.-c-o-m-/-f-o
and thats enough
the logs do the rest of the job, and i push the "down arrow" and then "enter".

Yes, I'm a leecher. The problem is I can barely keep up. I still got a buttload of tracks to rate.

I love TA.com, decisively one of the best resource/community for trance enthusiasts.

I found TA through Napster when I was downloading tunes. I registered to post in the Unknown tunes section because I heard a phat track and needed it ID'd as quick as possible.

At that time, the track was Harry Choo Choo Romero - I Want Out

and then I found myself staying and to leech more tunes

Yes, the first thing that I did here was leech. But, I started to participate in the forums and now the thing that I do less is leeching.
