please help the "poll section"...

I find it sad that there is almost no activity in the polls section, above all in the music related section..

I think something must be done to make this section a bit more attractive to the users..

my idea:

add a thread from the music releated polls section in the music discussion section. with thread I mean the heading, just a link to that poll/thread. I'm yet quite unsure where exactly in the music discussion section the link can be added so swamper would have to think about it.

the link, which should be displayed can be for example the newest one from the polls section, or a random one..

why the music discussion?

because the music section is the most visited section on TA and it is directly connected with the music related polls section - textual.

what do you think about this idea? I can think that it will work because this link wouldn't capture much place in the music discussion thread but the effect could be big for the polls section.

seems like nobody cares for it, sad.

this thread is a proove for the disinterest on the poll section otherwise some people would comment on this topic or at least read what I have written.

This section is simply not viewed as much as other sections and yet it`s true what you say: Not too many people really care about the poll section afaik.

i think there's a lot of 'stupid' polls which don't help. these include djs vs djs or tracks vs tracks and many don't leave alternative answers etc.

youre right. maybe mods should only get the permisson to open polls: quality instead of quantity maybe
