Question fav xmas songs....

while on the subject, are there any dance music xmas songs? Not like I think that would EVER work, but just asking hah. LA LA LA

My fav Christmas songs:

Pogues - Fairytale of New York
Band Aid - Do They Know It's Christmas
Lennon - Happy Xmas (War is Over)

(or I suppose I should be saying "favorite holiday" songs)

I friggin love xmas music.

I always thought that Love Generation (Bob Sinclair's) was kinda like a xmas/ holiday season tune.

"Why must the children play in the street? Broken heart's and faded dreams. Peace on earth to everyone that you meet, dont you worry, it could be so sweet"

More specifically, "Little Drummer Boy" by Bing Crosby and David Bowie.

Trust me...when you're working at a radio station that plays Christmas music 24-7 starting in mid-november, you arent as in love with it as you were before

Wizzard - Wish It Could Be Xmas Everyday
Slade - Merry Xmas Everybody
Bing Crosby - The Christmas Song

For the traditional ones, I like Good King Wencescelas.

Modern ones: Wings' "Wonderful Xmas Time," Beach Boys' "Little Saint Nick," and Run-DMC's "Christmas In Hollis."

carol of the bells
the nutcracker suite by tchaikovsky (esp. the arabian dance and the dance of the snowflakes)
what child is this?
band aid - do they know it's christmas time?
that pogues one - i forget the name
o holy night
madonna - santa baby

basically, anything traditional that is sung by a gigantic choir i LOVE. but i am a christmas nerd.

Angry

I do not like the one about wanting two front teeth for Christmas.

Anybody that tries to be witty by asking "Do you want your two front teeth for Christmas?" will NOT be getting DDTT in their stocking....

sorry to be a grinch but I friggin hate xmas music --bahumbug! it's way too early and way too cheery for me at the moment. xmas music on xmas day is ok, but that's about it for me!

LOVE-----> Wonderful Christmas Time - Paul McCartney
HATE-----> I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas...if i was alive when this song was recorded (1953) i would have tracked down John Rox and Gayla Peevey and beat them to death w/ a honey-glazed ham
