NYE Vegas Q's

How long of a set is PVD playing? usual ICE times? Edgar V opening?

Also anyone know the details on where Matt Darey will be?

no edgar, the main dj usually starts at 1 or 1:30 and plays til around 5, but given the good wweekend, people might stay and he could play longer.

Considering vegas?? probably he may go from 2am-6am but who knows. Edgar V and PvD are awesome but totally faded @ that indepedance. Edgar V played like 3 tracks and he was over. Not sure why they even did that but I"m sure it had some purpose.

Matt Darey will be at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay starting after the TIC is over. i imagine getting there after the show will be a challenge.

well i figure the TIC ends early at 3:30 that's when everyone is still in shit-faced mode combined that with closure of teh strip, you'll have a bitch of a time getting there.

the good news is that the two venues are only about 1 mile apart and the back way will get u there in 5 mins.

it may take 5 mins on a normal night, but usually every casino closes their parking garage on NYE to only guests of their casino.

There is no parking period anywhere on the strip on new years, its blocked off. If you tip valet enough you should be able to keep your car at one of the hotels all night.

there is parking but i'm not sure how safe it is. all the cross-streets along Hacienda has parking and walk along Hacienda to go to the Mandalay Bay. might want to check out their parking first. it may open becuz mandalay bay is at the south end of the strip...

i don't think it iwll be aproblem at orleans since it is off strip. but good luck with getting back to the strip and parking anywhere besides ythe hotel you stay in.

Thanks for the map and advice. I'm hoping to find space in one of these Lanes and Drives between Orleans and Mandalay Bay. I am fearless when it comes to free street parking, even in shady areas of L.A. or S.Ber.
