djx2 - Live On DJ Source Radio Tonight From 21:30 GMT With Special Guest Fernie

Join me this Tuesday from 21:30 GMT on server 2 @ www.djsourceradio.co.uk for 90 minutes of quality House and Trance featuring tunes from Matthew Dekay & Doves, Jellisimo & Tim J, Luminary and Yves Deruyter.

On on this weeks show from 21:30 i'll be featuring a 30 minute guest mix from Fernie.

Biography

Hailing from Hamilton just outside Glasgow the influence of trance music made its mark early. With the likes of Judge Jules metoric popularity in 1999 and recording of all his shows it was easy to enter into the world of dance music.

Having followed many shows and browsing record shops the plunge was taken and turntables purchased in the Christmas of 2000 landing in the room thus a new local dj was found.

After a couple of years applying the trade that is djing a lucky one shot demo sent to Simon Foy was picked up and John found himself being asked to come in to do a guestmix of Scotland biggest radio station 'Beat106'. Having completed this successfully in 2002 the inevitable followed and a residency was taken up at local night in Glasgow namely 'Substorm'.

Having made a small name around the 'underground' of Glasgow another night was formed under the name 'Inertia' at the Big Joint in Glasgow this was highly successful and again the name was pushed out there higher than before with a small guest slot at Refresh following.

With great expectations in 2005 it did not start out with any disapointments. Having passed demos of some early production work 23rd Precinct approached and in a flash signed to 23rd Precinct recordings. With 2 productions being released straight off and getting to remix the massive Altitude hopefully 2006 will be better than ever.

Then from 22:00 i'll be playing live the tunes that have been doing the business for me over the past few weeks. Please tune in if you can!!

Yeah awesome tune! Grabbed it off beatport a week or so ago, although i thought it had been released a while!!

the originals been goin round for over a year, am not sure whether that was an official release or not though! its either just been re-released right now or thats it just gettin officially released!

Just checked on beatport the Max Graham Remix has been on there since 29-7-05. No sign of the Original tho!
