Sound System

im putting myself a sound system in my car. already decided on the sirius satellite radio because they just have better channels, and by looking at their schedule, its way better than XM. what kind of sound systems do have u guys put in your cars?

i got an aiwa mp3 player, a 340 watt 4-channel amp and 2 10 inch pioneers

i dont know model # for aiwa, forgot brand of amp and how many watts the speakers are.

are u able to look into your rear view when blasting? because if u are....WEAAAAKKKK

i have a jensen radio that sucks, i got homemade box, which is really good, and two 12' but only one works, i got a 500 watt amp, a german brand, it pretty good. i drive an 89' oldmobile

do u want hard hitting bass and dont care much for highs? or do you want crisp clean sound? also how much are you willing to spend?

300 at the most, including the cd player which im planning on spending less than 100 on. i want a nice balance between bass and crisp sound. im probably just going to buy a system package at best buy, but i have the feeling im getting ripped off, i dont know what the hell im doing.

PLAIN AND SIMPLE

if you want a little extra thump but not earth shattering bass id say go with a bazooka self amplified tube. u dont need to worry about buying the amp and/or paying to install it. its sub and amp in one tube. now i used to have 2 10' Kicker Comps and a KX400 watt amp in my old car and now my cousin has it on his VW, hits pretty hard.

they always have good prices on there, thats where i got my stuff
