Talking

I really enjoyed your set and how you hooked me with the intro. Pure energy most of the way through, especially track 8 with the latin vocals. It just fit perfectly with the other songs in your set. I thought this was going to be a disaster when I read "hardcore salsa", but it turned out to be a great choice on your part. The outro is also something to point out -quality stuff and a good pick me up. Overall I give this set an 8/10.

Mixing was pretty cool, but the tracks were too bangin' for my taste. Waiting a new house set.

Awesome set dude, right on my taste, very nice track selections too. I love the Tech trance remix of lovestruck!

This is some quality tech-trance. The mixing is superb, very much on professional level. What partys do you play at?

Posted by trickysaer on Dec-15-2005 18:53:

Thx! Well, it should be since it software-mixed. I havnt played at any parties yet, closest to dj at a party so far has been selecting cd and pressing the play button on the player

Posted by decode on Dec-17-2005 16:40:

Do you own a pair of cd decks or anything? If you can mix with proper equipment then you should get yourself playing at parties. Software mixed or not this is a fantastic track selection in a very creative order.

Ive been hammering this and ste's quality tech-trance mix to and throw from work in my mp3 player this past week. Brilliant stuff.

sweet mix! perfect for working out, lots of energy, well done!

I just d/l'ed this and started listening to it. Man, it's got some energy!

Too bad it's encoded kind of low (162 kbps VBR).

Nope, not currently. Been playing abit on a friends cd decks. Want to buy my own stuff, but currently i do not have the money for it. Just bought my own apartment and so. But again, thanks for the positive feedback! :)

beowulf7: VBR is for variable bitrate so its not CBP at 162, it shifts in the set :)

Understood, but I'd recommend using "--preset standard" (in LAME 3.97b2), which from my experience, brings up the avg. bitrate to the low 200s.

Right, thx for the tip... using Audiocatalyst though. Dunno if Xing has their own encoder or if they use lame. Anyway i cant really change much en the encoding
