SEPARATED AT BIRTH??

Posted by JM on Jan-06-2002 09:36:

i guess nobody else has anything to say about my pics but u!
i appreciate it ABT

i figured other ppl were "feeling sorry" about his studio, and i wasnt gonna be like the rest of the people

i mumbled something to him about his set, asked him for a pic, some kid took a bad pic (God bless our faces are showing)...shook hands and felt hella cool

i actually liked his set, it was very energetic, even though ppl were hella tired at 4-5am....

Separated at birth? yeah he looks like an older brother huh?

i'd really like to see the rest of the great trance dj's but i dont think they'll be showing up to "seattle" anytime soon...

one happy day....

hehe this is a message to Juricimo and all the other North American TAs fellows :

Montreal this winter is probably going to be the best city in North America to listen to Trance , here's a little preview :

January 18th : Guy Ornadel

February the 1st : Jerry Bonham & Ferry Corsten
February 8th : Frankie Bones & Adam X
February 15th : Scott Bond

March : Bal en Blanc (a big party where everybody dresses in white) with many names , too big to reveal (haha just like the TV previews sorry but i can't tell u more)

April 12th (Aria's 1st birthday) : Armin Van Buuren + another trance dj

I don't think there's a city who's going to beat this line up , not even Toronto NY maybe but i doubt it

I'm livin in seatlle, wanted to go, but for some reason never made it, I'm glad someebody is talkin about it!

Hey Juricimo,

Was this at the Old Indoor Soccor Centre? or the Hockey rink down the road?

I used to live in Portland and travel to Seattle ever when for parties at the NAF and PowerPlant. I must be old because I remember Donald as the Dominator! hahahaa

Good to hear that people are still keeping the music alive in the NW. Great pics too. BT and PvD played at the first rave I've ever been to at the Roseland in Portland. Gotta find my pics now.

the usc soccer arena isnt used anymore, hasnt for a year or two..

powerplant either.

naf is still alive as ever, and still as sketchy and no one with brains goes there.

its at the exhibition center, it might not even have existed when you were here. its right across from the new stadium (replaced the kingdome)... huge building that is used for massives now. sketchy as ever.

Posted by QuickStep on Jan-10-2002 17:45:

Thanks Sothis for the update. I miss the NW scene. I really miss the weekends that we would have a party in Protland on Friday nights, then have a party in Seattle on Saturday nights. Those were long weekends but well worth it.

Everyone at the time totally knew each other from both cities. I'd go to a Seattle party and A) see everyone from Portland and B) be greated by the Seattle crew.

I remember the Exnibition Centre, it's down the street from where Power Plant was and near the Freeway, right? Wow, I can only imagine massives there. haha, we used to think the hockey rink parties were massive.

Thanks again, and keep the NW alive!

Denver has been pretty tight since August 14th when I came here:

AvB & Orkidea last September (?)
PvD last October
Sasha & Digweed last November
Oakie last November
BT this February
AvB again this February

I really like it here, the only guys who I miss anymore are Tiesto and Ferry...
