When you hear it for the first or second time its ok. But when you hear it everywhere you go, in clubs, commercials, other peoples cars and houses for well over a year you just cant take much more it anymore.

I haven't heard it in a club here for at least two closer to three years.

Sign me up. It's time for a revival!

Posted by david.michael on Dec-08-2005 13:57:

I hadn't heard it for a long time after getting sick of it, and then one day I randomly threw it on my playlist and listened to it on my car. I couldn't help but crank it up... I was like damn, this is a good song...lol.

Sometimes taking a break from a song that popularity has ruined can help.

I guess it depends on whether you liked them in the first place. Which, let's face it, we all did.

sandstorm for the win, it was big all over mexico when i lived there, came back to canada and it just started to be popular..gosh, i heard sandstorm for like 2 years and a half non stop!!!

Fucking hell, I hear this song like every time I go out.

Insomnia, then Sandstorm, then it usually starts to go pear-shaped with N-Trance - Set You Free.

You need to find some new places to go, man.

I haven't heard that song in a set or on the radio in a whiiiiiiile.

Well I'm not talking about proper trance clubs here. I go to Godskitchen quite a lot but sometimes I wanna go to clubs where it's not just men there, you know?

So yeah, a lot of commercial dance clubs in town play Sandstorm every night... it's not me who needs to find new places, it's the people who crave Sandstorm so much who need to find one of these clubs. And it's not hard, because they're everywhere. :P

No. Popularity didn't ruin that song. Being a sucky song ruined that song.

Posted by david.michael on Dec-08-2005 16:08:

or, "those songs", as it were.

If that track (not a song) came on in the middle of a set you would be dancing up a storm like everyone else. For most people here...it's what got them into the music

PLEASE vato!
I think that is the song that killed Party 93.1 here in Miami!
That shit ozzes more cheese than Ian Van Dahl & Alice DJ put together.

Asco!

For those into MMA
Vanderlei Silva (pride mw champion) comes out to the ring with Sandstorm. And after every pay-per-view is over, everyone goes to the message board and says "omg, what was that song???"
