i m a g i n e

imagine there is no heaven
its easy if you try
no hell below us
above us only sky
imagine all the
people
living for today

imagine there is no
countries
it isnt hard to do
nothing to kill or
die for
no religion too
imagine all the
people
leaving life in peace

imagine no possessions
i wonder if you can
no need for greed
or hunger
a brotherhood of man
imagine all the people
sharing all the world

you may say i am a dreamer
but im notheonly one
i hope one day youll join us
and the world willive as one

I love John Lennon, today is a sad day not just for the music world but forever. If John where alive today he would still be fighting for peace and we need a strong fighter like that.

during the birthdays and deaths of the 2 beatles that have passed on (and other significant beatle dates), beatle fanatics "come together" to play songs and be in the company of fellow fans...they're in central park at the strawberry fields area and along the walkway heading to the Dakota...theyre there all day long today celebrating the life of John by playing his songs...it's beautiful...i went last year on his birthday and it's wonderful...there are like 10 small bands playing music in different sections of that area...there's even a guy who performs with a muppett that looks like john...it's great...anyone and everyone who is a serious fan of the beatles should go...

here's an article i plucked from google news: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/...NEWS11/51208004
