Posted by wee_rooney on Dec-08-2005 21:35:

flat for me!

just easier to use the faders like that imo!

Posted by Zild on Dec-08-2005 21:38:

Tilted rotaries, flat battle mixers

Posted by Nemesis44 on Dec-08-2005 22:10:

I prefer tilted.
But as Zild said, battle mixers need to be flat otherwise they will get in the way.

Cheers

tilted if it's an installation, flat if it's a mobile setup

flat

I've only ever really spun when the setup is flat. which has been fine 99% of the time... only time I would have preferred a tilted setup would have been when I played one night for Tony^^... DJ setup is high (for me atleast) so I had some difficulties really getting over top of the eq's and such without worries of nudging a fader and such....

used to have my mixer flat but now its tilted using a lil block of wood.. I might go back to flat though cos all the led's on my mixer are starting to blind me and its getting annoying!

Posted by Allied Nations on Dec-09-2005 08:42:

tilted.

For all things rotary - Tilted
Faders - Flat

Posted by Abhay on Dec-12-2005 06:31:

because i'm too lazy to reach forward.

Posted by Boomer187 on Dec-12-2005 08:15:

tilted.

Posted by InterMilan31 on Dec-12-2005 08:29:

lol, my stanton RM-3s had the brightest blue led powerlight that ive ever seen, and would constantly blind the hell out of me. i ended up just putting a piece of masking tape over it cuz it was just the power light, and that solved my problem.

for me, tilted on about a 30 degree angle (my serato box stuck under the back is perfect). just enough so i dont have to lean forward to see the position of my eqs and such.

and for the thread, tilted cause i have a rotary mixer

Posted by seven.dj on Dec-17-2005 15:33:

I mounted my decks and mixer on the wall, so I don't have to bend over, I just stick the recs on the tt's and rip it up.

perpindicular mixer setups are the way to go!!!!

i'm kidding. TILTED!

Posted by DOOMBOT on Dec-22-2005 18:42:
