Darren Tate - Prayer for a God

hey, what do you guys think of this song?

i love it. i hope its not branded 'cheese', because in my opinion it doesnt sound it.. it is layered, has a nice beat, great tune, and cracking vocals which are uplifting

anyone know or like it?

i like the combination of the uplifting choir vocal with the pad. Genius. you should check out darren tate vs. jono grant - nocturnal creatures /jono remix . nice pad work there as well.

I don't mind it but it could be so-o-o-o much better. The Asian-style vocal in the breakdown is incredible but it only ever comes in during the break. You never hear it again after the breakdown and it's a shame because the dancefloor is crying out to hear that vocal soaring over the main bit of the track. Doesn't happen and makes the whole thing seem like a bit of a missed opportunity.

To be honest, I really liked (like) Prayer for a God. It stands out versus most of Tate's stuff. It's not terribly dense, but it's an adequate epic track with an interesting take. I would really love to hear it live on a beefy soundsystem.

I know alot of people wouldn't agree but I personally think that Ayumi Hamasaki - Audience (Darren Tate remix) is one of the best he made. I think the vocals and the stuff fit so good together.

but his _best_ is still Orion - See Me Here (Darren Tate's Beachcomber Dub). He still haven't topped that one

I think its a great track. The breakdown is very nice, and tripped out with the hindi-sounding vocals. Would be awesome to hear this at an outdoor rave.

I like the track also, especcialy because of the indian/hindi vocal. But the track is quite similar to his previous productions, like fall from grace and synergy.

still a great uplifting track though,

Awesome track; Darren Tate has never disappointed, and The Theme is still one of my favorite melodies.
