Dumb Cubase question

OK, bear with me guys. I'm trying to figure this out and I'm going to have to ask questions. (by the way, if anyone is interested in being available to answer my questions by email or MSN, please send me a PM so I don't have to post alot of forum topics - thanks)

I have looked through the manual and quickstart guide and done searches in those for what I'm looking for so please no RTFM replies.

Question: I am able to use my VST instruments but my VST effects are not showing up (they are in the VSTPlugins folder for Cubase with my instruments). They are not in the pull-down list under insert FX and they are not in my VST menu either...

Aha! Figured it out. But it still would be helpful to have someone to email or message if I get stuck. Any takers to help me thru the initial learning period? I'd appreciate it.
