Review: JELO @Revolution's Purple Room Dec10th (Waterloo)

wow. what an awesome night.
A great group of people came out to support a great DJ who was promoting his new great CD. All in all is was a great night.
I know a bunch of you are still partying it up so I hope you're having a blast. I had to take off to drive a very drunk barry home. We should know soon if he ever found his pocket that he was looking for so despritely! lol.
To everyone on the dancefloor shaking your ass till the last record stoped: It was a pleasure sharing the dance floor with such high spirited individuals.
Jelo, I loved when you came back on and then started pounding it! Those last few tracks were quite possibly the highlight of my night. Thanks also go out to Paradigm for bringing in all of the appriciated talent.
I got in late around 1am (was out of town and got delayed driving back) but the crowd was strong and the beats were godly. I cringed at the comparison between music in the main room and the purple room, purple room was rocking! I think I was full swing into the vibe and tunes withing about 4 seconds of crossing into the P.Room with Jelo on the decks.
Thanks again for a great night.
Jelo had the best set of WEMF in my books and tonight was a nice chance to get another dose of him.

Well i arrived fairly early with Barry and Jace. I was enjoying the music but i briefly wandered into the main room when they were playing some Benny Benassi and Armand Van Helden. The tunes were awesome all night, and i had a great time. Jelo is an awesome guy, this was my first time hearing him live..and i can't wait til the next time i get to see him.
However i have to say the highlight of my night came after the tunes had stopped. I have never seen barry that intoxicated before. Especially when he couldn't find his pocket, or when he couldn't get his coat on and when he finally did it was inside out. Happy Hangover Barry

Well i was up and playing soccer at 2pm, and no hang over. I thought i was doing pretty good. I know the night seemed to go fast for a bit, but after re-listening to the sets....i missed alot. WHEN did josh stop playing, then start again? lol. It must have been when I had lost my pocket. (I was trying to find the inside pocket on my jacket to put the mp3 recorder in...if your wondering)

The night itself was awsome, good people, very nice and chatty. Comfortable setting and awsome music. Jace & Ryan kicked it off quite well Very much enjoyed it. Josh/Jelo just wow. lol.

3rd best party of the year behind A&B and Rank 1.

Want to thank Fine Grind for their help in bringing this night togeather. Looking forward to having him and some other bigger names.

Ampz

ps. much respect to Mada and Dave for their help. I have a feeling i was suddenly more of a hinderance then a help at some points.

pps. ill post sets on vidman.ca
