Sry if topic has been discussed before, as this is my 2nd post only heh.
How do you dance to trance? Are there any specific moves? Any that any of you like to share maybe.
If anyone also has some links to further info that be cool. Thanks.

This reminds me of the time when I lived in Grand Forks, ND. First of all it was like impossible to get the DJ to play anything close to trance/house, but I got to know a DJ that was into it so I got him to play. When a couple of norwegian friends and I started dancing to the music you should have seen the faces on people. I don't think they had ever seen anything remotely like it. Guess they all thought we we're a bunch of crazy foreigners
You should come to europe and go clubbing (or possibly a happening in the US, don't know about the dancing there). I'm pretty sure you'll pick up a couple of moves. It's really hard to explain how to, and there are really no rules or guidelines. But there is a degree of skill involved, I love watching a girl who really knows how to dance. It's even cool to watch a guy who knows how to move
who gives a shit about how other people dance? do what ever makes you comfortable....

i dance naked with kitchen items.
It's probably easier for them because most dancing is kinda feminine in the first place. A girl can get away with a lot more than a guy can. But it's first when a girl really know how to move it looks sexy as hell.
looking like an ass is the fun part though,
in general there are no rules, there are some things that you DONT do though,
no pelvic thrusting
dont get on the floor and do any silly tumbling things(stay on yer feet)
dont flail your limbs violently
dont stand still right in front of the dj and stare at him the entire time

The question is, is he being ironic or not. I suspect the latter. And Zombie0915, have you ever seen a person with no rhythm thinking he can dance? It's not a pleasant sight. But of course, as long as you're having fun... 
This is how the majority of ravers dance.
Using your hands, describe the following:
big fish, little fish, cardboard box
big fish, little fish, cardboard box
big fish, little fish, cardboard box
and so on....
If you're white, these are the only two forms of dancing that you will look good at doing:
The White Man's Wobble - Just study Mick Jagger's moves, and you'll be fine. Drinking alcohol helps, but not too much, otherwise you'll loose the ability to coordinate the uncooridination of your moves.
The Manslaughter Mosh - Just stick the devil's horns into the air, jump like a loon, and bang your head. Works great for stuff like hardstyle, gabber, acid techno, darkstep jungle and ibiza trance.
Of course, you can attempt other forms of dancing too but there is no guarantee you will look good doing it. Unless you are a Level 12 breakdancer or something, just stick to the two above techniques and you'll make out fine on the dancefloor.
It's a free Dance, do whatever you like or feel.
I like the Dance of trance because people do what they want, the look free, it's different when everyone it's following a pattern or a rule.

Well, if you consider simply jumping up and down for hours on end looking like a complete nerd with absolutely no pulse or rhythm to be dancing (as it seems like the trance fanboys do, although not as if the faster-paced dance music has much of a recognizable rhythm anyway...), then just do that. On the other hand, if you are dancing to music where you can actually feel the groove, ie: house, then you can get more creative with your dance moves and just go with the flow, of course as long as you are in sync with the vibe of the music.
