List EDM/Trance producers that have quit the scene

I recently (duh, I know) found out that BBE quit the business after label got too much of a control over them. I was actually sad - they had several brilliant productions and I am sure they could have released so much quality tunage... but.

So, if you know of other famous/well-known producers or acts that have quite the scene - list them up. Would be nice to know why they quit too.

Salt Tank seem to have slipped off the radar, their site hasnt been updated in a good while and their latest track Imperpetuem Mobila under their Patient Saints alias was done like summer 2003.

other than that, one of them has contributed to some Judy Dyble album but that's about it.

does anyone actually know the deal about their ambient album, Island Life? it was announced to be released somewhere in summer 2002 but i haven't heard anything about it since.

the flutlicht/shokk was marco guardia (Dani still dj's afaik) and Marco under SHOKK. Marco was the main producer who is still producing odd things but nothing trancey at the moment.

Transa as mentioned, well nothing from them since 2003 ish
