How Kool is Eddie Halliwel?!

Eddie is class! He's the most interactive dj l know! You can always tell he enjoys the music he spins! And he always comes with his parents & his girlfriend, a bubbly lad
PS.I think another dj with a similar attitude is K90 & Blnk & Jones.
PS.Eddie is originally from Manchester l think..? Go on local!! haha

Out of the four times I've seen him that's the only time he's impressed me. The other three times he completly ruined the mood of the evening by butchering various tracks with his patented Fanny Aboutness.

Semms like a nice fella though, unlike most of the other trance and HH DJs that Radio 1 champions.

Posted by PlasticSoul on Dec-15-2005 14:17:

never heard him, but everybody liked him when he played here in the skol beats, sao paulo - brasil.

His Residency live set from Lush is really good if you can find it floating around. Definitely better than his Essential Mix which didn't really blow me away.

Posted by chesco on Dec-15-2005 19:31:

It's when he puts his hand to his ear and get's crowd to shout his name I cringe most.

Eddie halliwell doing techno on the radio 1 residency, does it get any worse.

Nothing wrong with getting a crowd going imho.

He's from Stoke, btw, and gave up stage diving after he got his shoes nicked by the crowd at Cream on Boxing Day 2003. Just a little bit of trivia there for you...

I wonder how many mixers he wrecked after that "heavy" use in the past...I watched the video and had a good laugh though, anyone else noticed he literally fucked the decks
