Sasha will be spinning here in mumbai(kamla mills) on sunday the 18th of dec...i must admit that m nt really a die-hard fan of his...but then ...we rarely get such events here...so i might just be there...for more details regarding the event one can log on to www.oranjuice.net

trance, techno, electronica is picking up especially amongst the youth ... GOA trance is an okay hit ) ...
The local indian DJ's can't be compared but they are gradually learning and picking up

PVD, AVB, Ferry corsten, Tiesto are the known DJs amongst my colleagues and other groups.

we have had PVD twice before...

i was in Bombay last summer and i went to club called Enigma, awesome beats. I heard a couple of people BLASTING Goa Trance on the road. I know there is a good underground scene there and i know that it is growing. WIsh i could be there for Sasha. Awesome for India and Mumbai.

I ain't the biggest Sasha fan m'self, but it should be a good show considering Bombay doesn't have much going for it (comparitively) in the EDM scene - or whatever u wanna call it. Any of you fools go last night - I heard Bandish Projekt and Shiva Soundsystem rocked.

was there in elevate as well as mumbai too ... will post video soon ... nothing special about sasha this time .... flat mixing ... obviously ... the guy who opened up for sasha at elevate was awesome ... mumbai IVAN opened up wid cheese straight from amsterdam ... what cheap sounds he played ... sasha threw some amazing bassliness in the end .... reallly bouncy.

Yeah it wasn't 'classic' Sasha, but since I never really was his biggest fan, I kinda liked this show. Much more energy (granted, a li'l bit more cheese). I can't comment on the mixing, but I was fairly impressed with the track selection, a few shockers nothwithstanding (ref: vanditpandit's post). Met up with my man Dino too! The second half of the set really kicked, starting around 1.45am. I had to bounce at 3.30 and go straight to the airport for an early morning Jaipur flight - just got back yest. morn. Heading over to Dino's thread to check out the pics.
