Fao Toufas

I'm sorry to have to post this here but i seem to have no other option

On another forum unrelated to this one I bought an item from Toufas. Toufas seems to be in the process of ripping me off. He is also doing this to another member of the same forum.

Toufas still seems to be browsing and posting in this forum since he went sour on our deal.

I have sent him money via Nochex and have yet to receive my item or a reply to recent emails (Toufas claims the package was sent 2 weeks ago)

So my msg to Toufas is this ... please get intouch ASAP before i seek legal advice.

My message to members of this forum would be to avoid dealing with this man.

If anyone could offer some information on him or his whereabouts i would appreciate it greatly

I'm not naming him as a ripper yet, I would just like some comunication from him. But his lies lead me to belive he is a con artist.

I know he lives in middlesbrough / athens and i hope he aint gone back to athens with my cash

I bought an IPAQ 5550 from him

The other guy bought a large hard drive 200gb + i think

Don't order shit like this from online people. I got fucked over on Amazon like this and Ebay. On amazon i ordered some books for school and ordered like 3 books for myself to read, and thank God the books that didn't come were the books i didn't really need for class otherwise i'd kill someone. I did get my money back from the site and the users were fined for it. And on ebay some dude "forgot" to ship me an mp3 player i was getting.

i only trust actual sites, not users.

Looks like i'll be contacting the police first then his ISP to report abuse of thier service.

I also noticed he posts in a lot of greek forums, maybe someone knows where he stays there ... will have to post and see

I just wish he would reply to my emails thats the most enfuriating part

and yes he will LIE!! we've seen this at least twice on TA as i can remember...
we prolly don't know him, so my advice to you, is go to the police on monday, file a complaint or whatever. I remember one guy, that claimed it was his girlfriend that had done all the shit, and went deeper and deeper into shit until he confessed like a month and a half after the purchase... your saving yourself alot of bullshit (if u ever find him) and youll be alot safer just going straight to the cops... and remember; use paypal for online payment to private persons! lemme guess, he sent u a link to a site that states every negative thing about paypal? at least they have a refund arrangement to stop scammers...

on second thought.. hire a PI, get his whereabouts and murder him... thats what scammers deserve...

while i hope you haven't been ripped off, there's also a flipside to these stories, and that's the irritating sort of buyer who freaks out when things don't arrive immediately and throws conniption fits when his constant emails aren't immediately replied to...

involving the police and lawyers after two weeks seems a bit ridiculous imo -- sometimes the post office just takes its time dude...

You are indeed correct, but i here's a few points to explain why:

Hace received many items bought after toufas deal from other users
Toufas has not been consistant with the day he "posted it" one email says tuesday and another says monday"
I'm not the only person awaiting for a delivery from him
The other person has yet to receive a reply to his emails yet Toufas has been online since (as he replied to a few of mines)
Rather than reply to my wanted advert he chose to email me off the forums, he also did this to other buyer. I see this as dodgy

I have not filed the complaint with police as yet, have to wait until the post declares the item as lost or not sent, which is 15 working days. The complaint will be made in January by myself and the other buyer.

It will be a week tomorrow since i've heard from him so i would assume he is ignoring my attempts to contact him.

Of course should the goods turn up meantime i will apologise for the trouble caused.

Totaling over �500 so far

now i could guess there's more people still to come that have been duped by this crack head

I've heard he's back in Greece, Does anyone have any of the following information about him?

Home address (UK)

Work address (UK)
Work address (GR)
Phone numbers?

anything would be a help in this matter
