ive ordered a Numark DM1050 mixer already, and i thought about saving/earning some cash to get a dj double-cd player. my first pick was the Stanto S-650 since my friend has one, but then i heard about the CDN-35. looks nice and simple...
It says it reads CD-Rs but does it read CD-RWs? and what the heck is the SP-DIF (digital or whatever) output? =)

I don't know the answers to your questions, but if you go to the Numark website they have a Technical Supposrt feature which will allow you to ask a Product Specialist a question and they will respond via e-mail. Straight from the horses mouth!

About S/PDIF:

S/PDIF stands for Sony/Philips Digital Interface. It is a way to transfer audio digitally without having to convert it to analog. In that way the quality of the sound stays the same. So it is the same as your Line out, but in digital form.

Yes. Numark cd players can read CDRWs.
