[progressive trance] Cosmic Tracer - Le Royaume des Cieux [full 192]
hey guys
it's been a while since i've managed to finish a track (july i think), but finally it's here
bonzai y2k style trance:
Cosmic Tracer - Le Royaume des Cieux (Audiojelly link)
enjoy
Hey this is pretty cool. Nice sounds in this, nice percs. Electro influences are in, good job. Thanks for sharing.
not much to say, more to enjoy
normally I prefer darker progtrance tracks but this was really nice for a change! love it and good luck with the label(s)
actually i'm not planning to send it out.. at least not for now, hehe
thanks a lot for your positive comments
good melody in this one, i like it a lot actually. I like the moment at 4:37 a lot, when the beat kicks back in. The electro influence in this works real well, i must admit. I think an additional lead, or some sort of additional hook would make this track even catchier. Right now, it has a lot of good elements, but no single one that just stands out to help us remember the song by. And the fact that there are several melody lines throughout the song makes it harder to remember it by a single, main melody. Just something to think about
Stan.
It has been a while,
What does the name mean?
Nice firm kick.
Good funky bass man.
Good vocals, the sample should be longer imo.
I think you should use a snare instead of that clap.
WOOT I like the synth that comes in 2:00.
This is a bit more prog house till now.
I don't like the offbeat synth, it's not interesting.
I like the strings, bring them more forward in the mix, move the the offbeat synth under the strings. the offbeat synth fits in the break.
I felt like a supersaw lead was missing in it.
You need something much more powerful after the break.
I was expecting something realllllly big.
Add more percs into the track. Fill it more, make it heavier.
7/10.
I'd sign in with some improvments.
Omer.
Hey Tor,
the mix sounds good, all the elements are properly represented. The only drawback for me is that it doesn't have anything to get remebered by. Work on those melodies and let's hear them.
Good work
Lalin
it wasn't supposed to be a melodic trance track actually, i just wanted to recreate the typical Belgian trance sound from 2000/2001, focussing on the atmosphere rather than having a big room lead take away all the attention.. i really miss that sound these days.
anyway, thanks a lot for your insight guys
tor,
this sounds like something from dj tiesto - live at innercity rai 99
i love your breakdown and i wished the melody would continue into the main part that followed. the section around 5mins 20secs sounds really nice. i love it infact(apart from the vocal sample near the end)
Great track
:o
Awesome track mate, reminds me of those good old deeper bonzai trance tracks. Will definately play this in my sets!
wow, i didn't know this thread was still alive
thanks for the support guys
*edit* the track has been offline for quite some time now, but i can upload it again if there's enough interest.
upload that puppy.
Reupp please.
please uup load that puppy too
thanks,
mattz
ok guys, it took me some time but it's back up again
remix pack available at request.
Thought it was pretty good on the first listen. After a couple more listens, I'm thoroughly hooked. Really amazing stuff here, even the high pitched "aahs" that may be annoying to some just work for me. I think this has potential for an official release.
thanks a lot for the feedback
Like the phaser on that lead in the intro.
I really feel like I've heard this track somewhere before. Can't tell where, though.
Good work on it. Nice sounds. Good groove.
pretty cool track, mate!
keep 'em coming!
cheers,
Peter
nice sound from the start.
maybe the kick could have a bit more warm sound.
original bass and synths. i like the vocal synth- maybe not the sample tho...
break - this is really nice! reminicent of ralph frisch in the pre 'angel' production. maybe similar to the b-side of 'paradise' think it was promise me heaven or somethink like that.
i though after the break it could be a bit more epic. but that is the style i suppose. actually im wrong there. now the layers are building it works a treat.
all id say is that it would be really cool to hear a rmx by someone like nomen nescio, ricky m or speactra.
nice original piece
rich
thanks for the feedback!

Hey mate, thanks for your review of my track
I noticed the quality on this from the start, everything is beautifully clear + crisp. The kick is perfect. Then the funky bassline hit and everything got even better from there.
Really enjoyed listening, there's heaps of little hooks that make this tune a real pleasure. It's catchy and it's funky. How good is it at 4:07 when it kicks back in!
I heard this one in the TA Unite mix before, and I really love it!
Those vocals are so cool!
The style is very cool too.
This is perfect!
Great work, and thanks for sharing!
