Hi all

I would really appreciate some help identifying and recreating these two patches:- Synths.

Cheers

I'll try to explain how to roughly duplicate the synth in the second clip (the long one). Use a subtractive synth with two oscillators.
Set both oscillators to sawtooth.
Detune one down 6-12 cents, and the other up 6-12 cents.
Adjust the decay of the filter envelope to a medium-low setting.
Filter sustain at zero.
Set filter resonance to about 10-15%
Cutoff frequency to about 80%
Adjust envelope amount until it sounds good.
I suggest you read some tutorials on how to program synths, It's not that hard to make or duplicate sounds when you know what you're doing.

Cheers for the help man. Why doe it have to be a subtractive synth tho? Can I not just use v-station or vanguard for this. I have downloaded unifyer 2 from KVR, but it just says a wave no., rather than a wave type. Any recommendations on which one to use? I will read up on programming synths, amongst the other million things I need to read up on (music theory etc...)! lol

Both V-Station and Vanguard are subtractive synths afaik.
