do you mean like hard industrial techno?

or schranz?

if it's the former, one of my favs. of the year (although i've not much to compare to) was Various - Crash Course E.P.

I'm oblivious to the latter.

wait, i don't think you alluded to industrial techno..doh!

Hardgroove is actually a pretty often used term for a certain type of techno..

I don't know exactly how to describe it, it shares elements with the Swedish stuff, the Napolitan stuff, more tribalish stuff, etc. As far as I'm aware, it's characterized by its driving groove.

Paul Mac, Leandro Gamez, Paco Osuna and the likes release hardgroove type of tracks every now and then.

That's about as vague as it gets, I know, but it's hard for me to describe it more accurately.

As for the topic starter, is Leandro Gamez - Body shaker [Intec 034] what you're looking for? It was released in April.

Try tunes on the hardgroove label - I'd suspect they have a few good tunes in this style, unless it's soem sort of advertising scam.

No, I think you're pretty much right about the label.. Mostly Ben Sims' productions released on it. He's more on the tribal side of things.

(And on the dull side, but that's something else)
