No snow on Xmas / NYE

Shite... I wanted to go snowboarding on Xmas.

I think it would be entirely possible to go boarding barring an extra ordinary thaw. They have snow making machines!

Posted by chinamon on Dec-20-2005 17:11:

i hope there wont be snow on those days..
why?
because we do have idiots that decide to drive drunk on holidays and ruin innocent people's holidays. if the roads have no snow or ice, at least it gives the innocent a better chance of surviving because the drunk wont lose traction as easily.
just my 2cents.

this, by no means, makes it okay to drive drunk.
DO NOT DRIVE WHILE UNDER THE INFLUENCE!

Hope you went boarding this last weekend, it was just amazing on the slopes.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, it should be just fine.

you'll definately be able to go snowboarding....every big ski resort around here is up and running with almost everything open...except for their parks and pipes but blue is fully operational right now, holiday valley down in ellicotteville has almost all of their runs open, same with kissing bridge....so get your ass on the slopes!

Posted by slingshot on Dec-20-2005 17:39:

and on the subject of snowboarding/skiing.....TOTA ski day anyone???

not yet....i have the day off today and wanted to make my way down to valley but couldn't find anyone to tag along....it seems as if skiers/snowboarders are depleting these days....

we should head down there sometime milos...

Never fret....the weather network changes all the time. Sometimes I'll check it way in advance and it'll say, no snow...then a couple days later...rain...little chance of snow...and then light flurries...haha there's still hope!

Posted by Jem_hadar on Dec-21-2005 00:06:

Live in C'wood, not been to Blue once! LOL (and dont plan on it either)

Tho, my cousin and his his gf and some friends are coming up, on the 27th and 28th I think, so I'll prolly blade and go with them bc they'll be up. it'll be fun im sure.

Gonna get my 1 (one) annual ski/blading session in EARLY this year!

Jem

Christmas Day: Flurries. Low minus 3. High minus 1.

^^^ That's the forcast this Collingwood (Blue Mtn).

There WILL be snow for snowing (sking/blading/boarding) this holiday season!
