what i'm hoping it is, is one day rock, one day edm. cuz i'll be damned if i'm there with some fuckin hardcore headbangers. too angry for me.

it was like that for BANG!. there was the EDM, and then right next to it was rock, not a good combo. it was funny though how small the number of people were at the rock stage compared to our stages.

Wow holy crap for GG....too bad its like a week b4 and I cant afford like practically 1 week and a half of Miami hotel prices

sorry buddy, its a one day event now =/

I think that that's Global Gatherings Purpose. Expose EDM to the masses by bringing this Rock Artists. Afterall, NIN and ROB ZOMBIE use electronica elements on their music. Sin by NIN is a dance/electronic track tbh. Apparently its changed to one day event. This info it's been given away by those that are organizing the event themselfs on other boards ( CJ ).

Tickets are also on sale @ wanttickets.com

Global Gathering Music Festival 2006 Miami
by Track Entertainment
Saturday, March 18, 2006
Pre-sale Price: $55.00 /
VIP Price: $200.00

FUnny enought, track entertainment its after its organization, the same one that organized Ultra last year so I dont really expect anything massively new. Im looking for Ultra's deal though, Ultra has moved from Bayfront to Bicentenial Park so I wonder how that will be set up.

Global Gatherings Miami has longe been promoted by bringing Rock and Latin with EDM.. yeah that turned me off, yet, Rock ppl atracted to this DJ's as well and vise versa.

Blasphemy.

GG trditionally in europe is 2 days and encompasses all types of musik, but it mostly ungerground stuff..so there are always rock bands and edm...over there rock and edm are just liek 2 different things not like here where rock is considered mainstream and edm is for le junkay club headz...like me...lol...but either way i think they will have alot of the rock during the day and save the good shit for the dark, where it belongs...i know u agree with me on that da...lol

Posted by MeLLyMeL on Dec-21-2005 01:46:

oh how loyal pvd is to ultra...

how lame

with rob zombie and nine inch nails, i think they'll be a whole crowd of people i dont wanna deal with there. plus the ticket prices will probably be outragous. i can see myself skipping this then.

55 bux....and for me that goes to sasha nad digweed alone....nothing like that shit live...nothing...and if they do it right they will get the closing spot and it will be epic...i wasnt planning on going to this event at all but if its the one event to see SnD together then i will be there front and center

good christ...i can see it now...the best shit evar when those 2 get together...it is the meaning of progressive musik...i cant wait now that this is it....i guess this means they wont be doing the aaa afterparty which i heard would happen this yr if they sign with gg??? maybe they can do both, idk

Posted by nfekted on Dec-21-2005 04:21:

i hope they do both lol. last year was sick at the AAA arena. but wtf i dont' want to be in there with those rock people.....those bands are the hardcore and they'll probably bring in horrible peeps.
damn wtf and now it's only one day????? Ultra moved to bicentennial!?????

NONSENSE!!!!!!!

Posted by jonSun on Dec-21-2005 05:53:

Theres enough EDM for me even though thats all ive listened to the past 5 years. Wouldnt mind seeing NIN again. Killer show

Posted by lost in forests on Dec-21-2005 06:20:

I'd have to agree that GG's lineup is worth the $55.00...25 for SD, 10 for NIN, 7 for AVB, 7 for Ferry, and 6 for whatever else i might like. Maybe interpol could play that'd be cool... As for ultra the $41 tix are fine too...just divide it up into like 50 djs..and it's really worth it. Can't wait for all of these events!! And as far as EDM and rock festivals mixing, I still remember Lollapalooza in 1997

Main Stage: Orbital ,The Prodigy , Devo, , The Orb, Tool, Snoop Doggy Dogg, Tricky, KoЯn, James, Julian and Damian Marley and the Uprising Band, Eels, Failure
