On Tuesday afternoon, from 3pm to 7pm, the Opie & Anthony Show will bring a bus FILLED with New York City's finest homeless people to the Palisades Mall in West Nyack, NY to shop, enjoy the holiday spirit...and maybe ride the big ass ferris wheel.

Every year Opie & Anthony do a fine radio program where they take a bus load of homeless citizens to a local mall and give them some cash to spend. Its usually a race to see which stores can slam those little security gates fast enough. All homeless have a 'chaperone' with a cell phone which call in and let us, the home audience, hear about what kind of quality purchases have been made.

For some reason they've told everyone which mall they're coming to, which is a big change and is suspect for some reason or another. Anyways its always a good show and is quite funny. Bill Burr and Rich Vos will be in studio to participate, or possibly chaperone.

This and the Garden State Mall in Jersey are the only places where I have ever seen state troopers called in to direct traffic around the highways leading up to malls! Xmas and boxing day shopping causes traffic jams that can add an extra hour onto your driving time to go passed these beasts of a shopping outlet.

It gets amazing when the homeless get to the mall and the chauffers start calling in telling everybody what the hobos are buying.

Those are the worst things I've ever seen in my entire life. I can't even watch them. The people who make those are the pure scum of the earth.

This thread I thought was something really nice to do around the holiday season...but the way you're talking about it...makes me think that they're actually making a mockery of these homeless people.

Why can't people have some TRUE compassion for helping the less fortunate.
