Creative Zen

Does anyone have the MP3 player by Creative called the Zen?

I want to get an MP3 player but I can't bring myself to plop down that much cash all at once... the new Mirco Zen seems to be just like the Ipod Mini in comparison..but is like 60 bucks cheaper...which is right up my broke-university-student alley...

has anyone heard anything bad about the Zen?

I love it, it recharges by plugging into your pc's USB port. and it's built like a tank, mines been dropped, slept on, my grandma spilt beer on it, and itstill works.

There are a lot of CD players that come with rechargeable batteries though. Like the Sony one that I had has a speical battery I've never taken out of the player.

Ah well...get what you like though. Good luck

Yeah i know.. but i also want something smaller then a cd player...plus lets not forget the costs of Cds....

haha man how sad am i! too broke to buy Cds.... uhhhh its funny cause the reason i have no money is because all i do is buy clothes and shoes and purses and going out hahaha but hey i gotta save on some stuff right?

also thanks Playa24_7 for that link... 7.2 rating out of 10 is good enough for me!

now the process of dropping hints for the rents for my b-day!

My only gripe with the Zen Micro is that it looks just plain cheap. The bright, painted faceplates practically scream "TACKY". Get with the times, Creative - people like stylish products.

I actually love bright accesories... i mean i know its just an MP3 player and all but i tend to wear a lot of black so when i do have accesories ( like a bag or sweet shoes ) they are usually some bright off the wall colour... which is why i think i'm going to get the lime green one...
so this is not an issue to me at all!

I've seen it, used it. I prefer my iPod mini, but it's a damn fine MP3 player.

Matt on TA has one. Its pretty neat. I like the way it lights up.

The scroll button I found to be annoying and over-sensitive, but I suppose if you use it all the time, you'd get to know it and that prob would disappear.

Just PM Matt. He uses his as often as I use my iPod - he loves it and is VERY FAMILIAR with it... could give you ALL KINDS of personal experiences and first hand info.

You go girl, seek happy days to happy nights.

Jem

P.S. I hope you get it Nikki!!!!
